[Boy howdy. This place only gets funner and funner. He has to walk through the woods for four days, babysitting a blue poof the size of his head, feeling awkward with a human companion (however necessary he feels it is), and straining constantly to figure out where that goddamn music is coming from, to no avail.

And the kicker? Even after he gets to a slightly bigger town, there's not a drop to drink in sight. And the locals are just a little bit too happy for him to approach with those questions.

Time to broadcast without that pesky video again.]

Where do they hide the bar in this... "Cherrygrove?"

[He's mostly just sticking to the edge of town for now, avoiding the locals and feeding his Swablu some of the food he picked up at the mart. That doesn't sell alcohol. Save him.]

[If by 'save' you mean 'accost' then, y'know, sure. Ford has been staying in Cherrygrove since he arrived for his grand niece and nephew's joint birthday party, getting his feet under him and bonding with his Pokemon (two, now!).

And when he's not bonding with them, he's creeping on everyone else's. Which is why he just fuckin' appears like a monster popping out of a closet to say:]

[The sudden approach has Murphy's first reaction set to Kill, but he manages to stay his hand long enough to see that it's just a man. If a weird one. With no concept of personal space. Glaring not-so-subtly, he makes a point not to respond, but the Pokemon tilts its head -- body?? -- at Ford and gives a Blu blu.

[Yeesh, Murph, it's almost like you had a horrendously traumatic experience that made you wary of other people or something. Luckily(?) Ford is kind of oblivious and also distracted by his own exuberance, so he doesn't notice at all.]

[Murphy is mildly pretty uncomfortable, though Mac is more than happy to be the object of so much attention. It fluffs up its wings before fluttering over to nest its fat little self on top of Ford's head. Its trainer is left folding his arms impatiently.]

Oh, good luck finding an actual 'bar' in Cherrygrove that isn't a tacky tiki bar on the beach.

Once you get to the bigger cities, there's plenty of bars. But Cherrygrove is barely even a town to begin with.
