Can anyone kill or buy these dead diseases to improve their body?
no subject
Yes; they're called vaccines, some of them you have to go to a doctor for but most pharmacies have flu vaccines available around fall and winter
Actually it might be different here bu tgiven how this place works i'd gues they're MORE accessible than they were back home?

But you should also know it takes a couple weeks for them to be effective, so you won't be immune right away - and you're probably gonna feel pretty gross for a day or two after getting it done.
I mean the nurses could also tell you that

Why?

You know how you'll be tired after training even though it wasn't a real battle? I assume anyway.
It's like that but with how the body responsds to illness.
I have a fever, and muscle aches, and so on because that's my body tyring to deal with the flu germs; so after getting a vaccine, you might get a minor version of those symptoms

a few minutes later
dimtiri are you at the store yet
if it's not too late you should get a thermometer too, it's a tool so we can knwo how hot i am
no subject
Can you not tell how hot you are by someone feeling your forehead?
no subject
What hte hell. that was meant to be quantitatively
Anyway like that you can tell someone HAS a fever and kind of how bad it is ubt not the numerical temperature, you can measure heat as a number with a thermometer and use that to tell how bad a fever is
no subject
Will we have to get you different medicines depending on how bad it is, Grant?
no subject
WHICH is unlikely
[He is not! Going to die!!]
no subject
Should we get something to carry you properly to the hospital if the fever is bad?
[does he need to get a stretcher, grant]
[do they need to prepare the rat sleigh]

Especially sinc e again it probably won't happen anyway!
Thank you though

You are too important for me to do anything less.
If things do not happen, then that is fine, and it will not take much to put things back to as they are.

Anyway, the point is: Having someone fussing over him like this, actually making preparations for if things take a turn for the worse, is new. And, of course, because it's Dimitri, because of how he talks and how quick he always is to tell those important to him how much he cares...
He thinks his face might be getting warmer again.]
Okay
Thank you again
