so i've got a question for those of you who are from a different world than this one. which is everyone who uses this network, from what I've been told, so I guess that's superfluous.

long story short: we lose our powers here. everyone knows that. we lose anything obviously inhuman here. everyone knows that, too.

has that involved losing limbs for anyone else? how do you deal with that? i feel like i need some kind of amputee support group, only since i'm not actually missing any expected human body parts i suspect they'd kick me out.

pretty much, yeah. but my 'powers' were wings. i don't have them anymore, and it's all kinds of unsettling.

I can't imagine how that must feel... my friend was shaken enough that they didn't have their own power, and it didn't involve any extra limbs...

yeah. losing any quirk would be distressing - it's not entirely unheard of back home, so it's a subject that's come up before - but it's a whole other level when it's an actual physical thing that's gone.
