Good afternoon everyone, on this unforgivably hot day. I would like to invite those near and far to my ranch. You may have heard that I do ask my visitors for help with the myriad chores, but is that not natural? I help you, you help me...
A bit of hard work is good for you, I say. So lay down you preconceptions and come for a visit. I have a good handful of those shiny Eevees that you all adore so much. Or if that might not strike your fancy, there are a good deal more. Please refer to the Ledger.
As you can see, I also have a bit of a hole in my water type breeding stock. Those with a Marill that they would be willing to trade me should contact me. For my own purposes, I will also be trading for or purchasing Shiftry, Hoppip, Axew, and Victreebel. The sooner you're here, the sooner you might fulfill your dreams. So, what are you waiting for?

[He smiles and taps his lips. ]
And what would I owe for such a privilege?

[ No he doesn't. But it's something he's heard people say. ]
You have yourself a deal. What might this Axew's parentage be? For my own books, of course.
[He has to think about it for a few moments.]
She has been paying much attention to my Flygon, Bahamut, recently. I imagine she'll pick him this year, unless he somehow manages to insult her during the next few days.
[ Oh god, he sounds like he isn't joking. ]
I would not turn my nose up at a Trapinch, by the by.
[Hopefully not, because he'd like to believe that romance still exists out there.]
Should any result from Bahamut's other yearly dalliances, I'll be sure to set one aside too. He's a decently popular father, especially now that he shows willingness to mate with fellow dragons.
[ He taps his fingers. ]
Yet other dragons don't care to lay very many eggs, do they?
[He winces as he says that; experience has taught him far too much.]
The ones that truly resemble dragons do not, at the very least. Yet if you take the Arbok or the Swablu lines, for example, you obtain a number of eggs per clutch similar to most other species. Even a Tyranitar will lay two at once, matching other fossils.
[He shrugs. There were enough woodlands to support it all, he figures.]
Yes, I've found the little apple lizards to be appropriate mates. Their sweet scent and kind natures are disarming to even the most stony-faced fiends.
I suppose it is time to try to evolve the Magikarp. I have the land to build the ponds, but not the manpower.
[What exactly counts as proper supervision is none of his business, though.]
The apple lizards? Ah, yes, the ones that started appearing a year or two ago. Are their movesets wide enough to match a Gyarados, when it comes to passing on moves, or are those evolutions truly necessary?
