VIDEO - [BACKDATE - AUG 8]

[Jonathan appears to be holding something- very carefully, very gingerly, from where he's perched outside the Temple. Armin of course, intends to go right back in- he expects nothing less- but right now, he's simply got to share the news!]

Good day everyone! I've more vital reasons to be posting this of course, but I must share the experience that Armin and I just had- it was undescribable...we were exploring the deepest depths of the temple that we could possibly manage, and then there they were-

Massive! Far larger than any typical Relicanth, with cheekbone points so long that they were practically a moustache! They were wise with age, and spoke even into our minds...

[Maybe? Possibly? Jonathan seems pretty sure about it!

Anyway-
] More importantly, I was gifted with this incredibly old tablet- its language seems unlike anything I've seen here, and I would very much like to have it properly preserved somehow if any have advice on how best to do such a thing.

In that case for now you probably don't have too much to worry about for the time being. Simply ensure that nothing hard bangs against it and nothing is spilled on it. And try not to drop it, of course.

Once you're back on the surface, keep it protected from the weather, too, as even wind and rain can slowly wear away at stone.

Mostly keeping it from being exposed to weather, and making sure nothing hits it that could damage it, should suffice. Of course, even if it was submerged to begin with, spilling water on it now is probably also best avoided. But stone is much less fragile than an old book, so I doubt it would be too hard to take care of.

There is a museum in Pewter City, if you haven't been there before, so you could certainly try visiting and seeing if anyone there can advise you more.

I'd certainly hope they'd be familiar with such things yes. Just take care if you plan to bring it there that it isn't damaged along the way.

Putting it in some sort of padded container would probably suffice. Assuming you don't plan on then tossing it around roughly, of course.

Wrapping it up in that would probably suffice. Do you have something to tie it to make sure it stays secure while you're carrying it?

The firmness of the ties is less important than the length. The idea is just to secure the wrapping so that the tablet doesn't shift around and slip out while being handled.

That may certainly be worth a try, however.

It should be long enough to wind around it in more than one direction to keep it fully secure; preferably multiple times.

*you don't want to tie it around the middle and then have it slip out the ends!*

It certainly would be worth a try, hopefully it will work out.

I would be interested in hearing what becomes of it, and if you learn anything, certainly.

*he and Ryner miiiight just have a hobby of researching into the legendaries and such lore*
