Honestly, so long as anyone she knows is here Blake is half tempted to just throw this damn thing away - not because she does not want to see anyone again, but because what possible chance is there that they'd want to see her again? From the posts she's seen vigorously scouring the network they're from earlier down the timeline, which is one of the many concepts that completely baffled her on entry, but hopefully she'll get it eventually?

But there's no way she can hide who she is, no matter how she slices it. If she posts, she'll be found out eventually. If she doesn't, she'll be found out eventually. She's read through all her teammates' posts as research, and then some. Blake Belladonna came up. This isn't what she had wanted to happen, but how could she have predicted... this?

Her voice is even and low, with just the barest hint of a rasp to it.]

Hello. My name is Blake Belladonna, but... some of you already know me. I think I understand this place from what I've been told, but if anyone else has something I should know, I would welcome the advice. And...

[There's a long pause as she turns what she should say next over in her head.]

[ Seeing the one person that hasn't made a network post in the past couple of weeks (not inside her own body, anyway) might be something of a surprise for Blake. That feeling, at least, can be mutual for them. ]

Blake...? [ Yang sounded tired. Beyond exhausted. She doesn't look it. Her eyes lack deep bags under them, and she wasn't gaunt from lack of nutrition, or from illness. No, the others managed to keep her fed despite her apathy, so her body was making a decent enough recovery since her own re-arrival.

Her hair, though. Yang looked like she hadn't showered properly in a week. But above the collarbone is all that's visible from the way she's seated upright, in bed, with the 'Gear propped up in her lap. She stared down at the screen in disbelief. There should be relief there. Joy.

You can't knit your brows in confusion and make it look happy. It's just impossible. ]

HELL INTENSIFIES

[It takes a little while for the reply to come. But when it does, Blake has switched to video. It's only fair. She looks a little haggard herself, running for your life will do that to anyone, but it's nowhere near as bad as Yang. She's nowhere near as bad off as Yang right now, and she knows it. But there's guilt. She can't hide all of that.]

[ No. Yang shouldn't have enticed Blake to match that communication mode. The regret is quite evident on her face. She wasn't ready to see Blake. The mental image she had been harboring for the long, lonely weeks ever since the fall of Beacon was incongruous with what was right in front of her.

This was ten times worse than Ruby casually strolling up to her, like she hadn't walked out on Yang just hours before. Worse than Weiss catching her in the street and both of them practically bawling their eyes out in public. Worse than Penny's innocent face twisted with concern at seeing something she was woefully unprepared for.

It was worse because Yang should be angry this time. Really. Truly. Angry.

Or, at least, she was convinced that she ought to be. She had every right to it... ]

You're late, again. [ Yang's face was screwed up in an odd mixture of expressions. Confusion, primarily, but also... relief? A self-deprecating smile was on her lips like she had just told a joke at her own expense. ] I guess your trip from the Moon was longer than ours.

[ Look! She was trying, TRYING, to be happy. Everything was happy and fun and good a few days ago. Can they have that back again? Please, cruel Pokéverse? She needs this. They all did. ]

So hearing her again, knowing that she's... well. Okay? She seems okay, but this is Blake, so it's really hard to tell. Still!

When Ruby finally speaks up, the joy is pretty clear in her voice.]

[Seeing Ruby creates a few... mixed emotions. But at least she seems happy, so the least Blake can do is manage a smile. Or at least something close to a smile, enough to show in her voice.]
