[Legosi looms into view as the feed flickers to life. He's standing in front of what appears to be a small lot that had previously been for sale. Previous being due to the big "SOLD" sticker slapped over the sign at the front of the little pathway leading back to the house. It's a modest place, but what really sets it apart is the large side yard it sports.]

Good morning. I hope everyone is staying safe, under the circumstances.

[He's been keeping his head low, because Nope. He is DONE with giant birds for a while, thanks.]

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've moved. ...well, it's more accurate to say I've finally settled down someplace. I'm going to be living in Azalea Town, now. Though I expect getting moved in may take a bit more time with everything that's been going on.

[The grey-haired young man (he knows) sighs, scratching the side of his neck.]

Anyway, um...if you need me, this is where I will be staying. I'm still going to travel every so often, but I thought it was time to get to work on the garden I've been planning to build.

[With all of that said, he offers the camera an extremely small, easy to miss smile before cutting off the feed.]

Really? There's no shell at all? Interesting...

[Maybe the shell is sort of like...dissolves...into aether? That helps the baby Pokemon in their early days? Give him a second to like jot down that as a hypothesis.]

That is actually quite a process. I'm sure I'll have the chance to see it play out for myself, but for now, I do appreciate the insight, thank you.

[It's possible! Legosi doesn't have any sort of concept of aether where he's from, but he can understand that sort of concept. It makes more sense than the shell just magically vanishing somehow, at any rate.]

You're welcome. It's better to know what's coming than to be suddenly surprised by it. As for getting the breeding started, I will warn you it's...easier than you'd think. So if you don't want your Pokemon to breed yet, it's better to keep compatible matches apart until you're ready.

I would assume even compatible pairs would want to get to know each other a bit before, erm, engaging in activities of that nature. It may be limited experience, but Pokemon seem more clever and...understandable in their expressions, I suppose, than the fauna I am used to.

[That's not to say a goobbue can't be understandably expressive, but this is different.]

Or mayhap I am simply projecting onto them.

It's hard for me to say, if I'm honest. Creatures of a more...base nature are pretty rare where I'm from, probably because we are the creatures that most here are used to hearing about. Wolves, Deer, Rabbits...the closest to what I've heard described are insects and fish, and even then it's not exactly the same.

[G'raha doesn't seem bothered by this!]

There are peoples similar where I am from as well - various tribes across the realm who resemble wolves or turtles, or even some species of flora in the case of the Sylphs.

[Man that's actually interesting to him, like...a world where the "beast tribes" are the norm! How intriguing!]

And then there are also some Spoken races who carry such traits, but to a far lesser degree. Hrothgar, Viera, Au Ra, Miqo'te...the last of which I am a member of, even if I don't look it here.

[Legosi likes hearing about worlds that have unique species, such as G'raha's. It seems like- at least typically in his experience- the "Earth" status quo is the norm for most people here, even versions of it that have magic, or dragons, or other similar things. It's especially nice when he can say "oh I'm a wolf normally" and people don't immediately ask him the usual questions. Not that he minds much, it just......can get awkward at times.]

I am a Grey Wolf myself, just...outright. From what I've gathered I'm the same as any other wolf you'd imagine, just one that walks and talks like a human would.

What sort of species is a Miqo'te?

If that's so, I can imagine you would be quite similar to the Lupin of my world.

[And that idea is actually very cool to G'raha.]

Ah, Miqo'te are feline-adjacent, I'd say. Our ears and tails resemble and function as a cat's would, and those of various tribes can have markings that are similar to all sorts of actual cats - usually the smaller domesitcated breeds, or the somewhat larger wild breeds. Our senses are usually keener in those respects, than that of, say, a hy- a human, sorry, they're not called hyur here...

Feline-adjacent? That's interesting...

[So what he's saying is they're cat people. But probably not as CAT cat as they are where Legosi's from. Some more human-leaning mix between the two, he'd imagine.]

So the Lupin are different from that?

[Yep! If Legosi wanted to meet more CAT cat people, he'd have to go meet the Hrothgar.]

The Lupin are quite different! Bipedal, yes, but nearly every other physical trait is that of a wolf's. Their senses, their features...

[So like. If Legosi met one, he'd find them strikingly similar to who he is!]

[Honestly, it's weirder to Legosi that both can exist in the same universe. Most of the time, it seems to either be all or nothing. Or...some sort of inbetween.]

Your world is...a lot more varied than my own, it sounds like.

Perhaps - though I wouldn't be at liberty to judge, having never seen yours with my own eyes. But that does not make it any less interesting. This world must seem dull in comparison.

Mm...dull is a bit of a strong word. It's just...different.

Things like Pokemon, or even...magic, or as close of a comparison to magic anyway as there could be, exist only in fiction for my home.

Is that so...

[Then even the realm of Eorzea would be quite a lot for Legosi to take in, huh...]

What sort of things would you consider to be magic here, then?

Well...what the Pokemon are capable of doing is something I would consider similar to magic. I mean...birds aren't supposed to breathe fire, for example, and mice can't conduct electricity I'm pretty sure.

Aah, I see. Then my home would be quite strange in a similar respect. There are some truly incredible beings great and small that can do things like that, and more.
