[Legosi looms into view as the feed flickers to life. He's standing in front of what appears to be a small lot that had previously been for sale. Previous being due to the big "SOLD" sticker slapped over the sign at the front of the little pathway leading back to the house. It's a modest place, but what really sets it apart is the large side yard it sports.]

Good morning. I hope everyone is staying safe, under the circumstances.

[He's been keeping his head low, because Nope. He is DONE with giant birds for a while, thanks.]

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've moved. ...well, it's more accurate to say I've finally settled down someplace. I'm going to be living in Azalea Town, now. Though I expect getting moved in may take a bit more time with everything that's been going on.

[The grey-haired young man (he knows) sighs, scratching the side of his neck.]

Anyway, um...if you need me, this is where I will be staying. I'm still going to travel every so often, but I thought it was time to get to work on the garden I've been planning to build.

[With all of that said, he offers the camera an extremely small, easy to miss smile before cutting off the feed.]

Oh, hey! I visit that place a lot. Got a nice little jazz club and hometown kind of feel to it, y'know? I've thought about putting down roots there too eventually. Wanna' see what this world has to offer though first.

Yes. After all that searching, I ended up back here after all.

[Zuke gets a bit of a wider smile, more deliberate than what he'd shown the network.]

Plus, you made it seem like a very nice place to live when I visited last.

I do recommend visiting the entire region before you decide. That's what I ended up doing, but Azalea appealed to me the most.

[For more than a few reasons.]

Thank you...it will be a butterfly garden, but there are going to be other types of bugs there too.

Oh hey! It looks like you made a great buy there. I haven't been to Azalea yet. Not so keen on going through that big forest or that big cave to get there. But I've seen it on several feeds now and it looks like a nice place. I'm thinking I'll travel some more after all, once this bird mess blows over, so maybe I'll still get down there sometime. Good luck with your garden!

I got to about Goldenrod before detouring to Kanto, actually. I'll see it all eventually though! Even been to a couple of the islands now.

[ A butterfly garden... At the mention of 'butterfly,' her Frosmoth - 'Little Guy' - flutter into view of the screen. ]

That's awesome, dude. Butterflies your thing? I admit, I wasn't too fond of bugs... until this guy here.

So you settled on a place yet? Where are you thinking?

Thank you. Please stay safe...but I do recommend visiting, if you ever get the chance. And also, maybe try going through Ilex with someone? It's much easier to get through it if you aren't alone.

[Legosi didn't mind hoofing it by himself, mostly because he just wandered taking in the sights and Pokemon until he found the exit.]

[Legosi huffs a soft laugh, turning his gear again so Zuke can get a better look at the sold house just behind where he's standing.]

I've already made an offer on a place, actually. It's on the edge of town near the exit to the forest. I wanted to be in the city, but still somewhat close to nature at the same time.

I visited Kanto briefly myself, though I haven't gotten around to touring the entire region. I'll probably go when I've settled here properly.

[He's just been on the road for so long...it's time for a bit of a break.

Legosi's eyes widen slightly, his attention immediately grabbed by the Frosmoth. It's beautiful...he really needs to get a Snom.]

I like all Bug Pokemon, actually. But I got to see a butterfly garden full of Vivillon of all sorts of patterns not long after I arrived...and I've thought about making one for myself ever since. But I just liked bugs back home, too...

Your Frosmoth is beautiful, by the way.

Yeah, I think I might.

[He ponders this suggestion.]

It does seem like it would be more enjoyable with someone. Not to mention safer. Well, maybe if I ever start traveling with someone.

[Radley chuckles.]

Someone in addition to the Pokemon, I mean.

Ah, the joy of acquiring a long-term home! Congratulations!

[Cecil would congratulate Legosi for his continued survival despite the giant birds, too, but this is a time for happier thoughts.]

[The redheaded man who responds is unfamiliar to Legosi, but there is...hm. It's hard to describe it. He looks human, but there's an undercurrent to the intrigued expression on his face that's almost feline? Like you could imagine the twitch of ears, the sway of a tail behind him, just. It's not hard to see it in your mind's eye, for some reason.]

That home looks lovely! We...those of us who are brought here, we are allowed to purchase our own homes?

[bigsadwolf]

Pokemon do make good travel partners if you don't happen to have someone else to go along with you. They'll keep you protected no matter how far into the forests or caves you go.

[Legosi has had to learn the hard way that this human body simply cannot do what his wolf one once could, but at least having his Pokemon with him leaves him feeling less completely vulnerable.]

I do. They remind me a little of a friend from home.

[Legosi chuckles because yeah, he's seen the Slowpoke this place is famous for, and honestly just seeing them is enough to lift his mood.]

And thank you. I've been saving for a while, so it doesn't quite feel real yet.

[And those attributes don't go unnoticed. Legosi's gaze doesn't quite harden so much as it becomes more focused, and if his own ears were present they would be perked forward with attention.

Huh. Surely he's just imagining things...projecting onto this man, perhaps.]

Ah, yes. Once you've gotten enough money for it, it's actually not that difficult to find apartments with vacancies, or homes that need buying outright. A lot of the people here are chronic travelers and don't stay in one place for too long, I've found.

Oh, definitely. My girl's been amazing company. But even with all she can do, I feel kinda protective of her, you know? I don't like relying just on her. There's a lot of dangerous Pokemon out there.

[Probably some dangerous people too.]

[paladinlost]

They do so with their kindness and gentleness, surely?

[And not with their 'impressive' mental faculties.]

It'll become very much real once you start truly furnishing it. There's something delightful about seeing a comfortable chair or a nice painting and having a space to put it, without needing to worry about where it'll go when you move.

That tendency has not gone unnoticed. [He smiles, though - the desire to travel where one's heart desires is one he resonates quite well with.] Still, to have a home to return to...if the process is so simple, anyone can aspire to it.

[He should ask G'rhyf if they want their own house...]

What is it about Azalea Town that made you pick it specifically?

That's a good mentality to have. Being self sufficient is more valuable than you'd think, especially in a place like this.

[Not that this world is bad, or even dangerous MOST of the time (now does not count), but it sure does just drop you in and expect you to be able to fend for yourself immediately. He's lucky he was already living on his own, thinking on it...]

[Legosi nods, chuckling.]

It also helps that he's a seal. Slowpoke remind me a bit of seals...I'm not actually sure what they're closest to otherwise though.

I'm hoping that part won't be too difficult. My apartment back home is small...too small for me to really afford to put much furniture in it with how limited the floor space is. Now it's like I have too MUCH to work with.

["Simple" is probably relative in this case, but at least for Legosi it wasn't that bad. He's also just pretty chill on a good day, so he was going too be willing to accept most anything so long as it was in an area he liked.]

Well...I wanted to build a large garden for bug Pokemon outside of my home, so I needed someplace that was a bit more rural. I didn't want to move somewhere completely out of the city though, since I'm used to living in a pretty busy town back home. I was able to compromise with Azalea, because it is close to a forest and national park that I enjoy, but also has easy travel access to one of the largest cities in the region.

It's just a peaceful town, too. Apparently a lot of folks come here to retire....and I can understand why.

[Oh, right there's bug Pokemon too...G'raha's most memorable encounters involve Caterpie landing on his head, or being accosted by preteens with whole teams of worms who want to fight him. That part's odd. But he's imagining like, big beetles and mantises now, and that's not too terribly strange.]

That does sound nice - and very considerate for the Pokemon around you. You must like the Bug type quite a bit, if you want to dedicate the outside of your home to them.

Ohhh yeah, I see it now. I remember that place! I haven't seen it on the inside but-

Just good to see more friendly faces move into town. I hope you get but let me know when you come in. We'll make a day of it, yeah?

It sure is. I had to start finding my own way several years ago. Never in the middle of such a rural area, though! But the city had its own challenges. And later on I moved to a really small town and had to take a lot of the initiative myself on how to improve it.
