These Ones can make all the friends! They seem fun to fight. [ nod sagely. ]

[Man what was Sasaxia's Free Company like? Firoza's is full of Miqo'te.]

They don't shy away from battle, yeah. I've noticed that, too.

He will be! Royal One likes the Risky Breakers.

Oh! How does Firoza fight? This One is Dancing One!

This One is...Protecting One. With a sword and shield. I know other ways to use swords, too, but I'm used to protecting by now.

[Could also read that as: I have built up a tolerance for getting smacked around repeatedly so my friends do not get hurt and frankly I'm proud of that.]

Which... scares her Paras, who lets out little scared sounds and tries to dig into the dirt. ]

This One knows how to protect. But... learned during a bad time. This One prefers this.

Ah...I've heard of a way to protect that's like that. [Whispered tales of a Dark Knight had not enticed her down the path in Ishgard, worried and later grieving as she was.] You use this to be a Dancing One, then? I had never thought to call it that.

[ Time for Sasaxia Logic (tm). As she pointedly ignores speaking of what other job she took up... but she hangs her Job Stones from a flowered necklace, and there is Dragoon and a dark pointy one... ]

Well. This One is Sylph, yes? Sylph in Lalafell body. And Sylph dance. This One used sticks to help poke away Scary Ones. Until Metal Ones appeared.

Then needed stronger weapon. So, began to use spears. But it is still dancing. Yes?

[Ah, she sees, she sees. Firoza takes out her own stones - the Paladin one foremost of them, resonating with her present self. But one emblazoned with the mark of a Samurai rests easily alongside it, and next to that, the stone of a Red Mage.]

When you put it like that, it makes sense. I guess I would've called it being a Jumping One...but then, you could just call Estinien the Jumping One. [A wry smile.] He's not a Sylph, after all.

[By Sasaxia logic, he's not a Sylph in an Elezen body, so his fighting with strong sticks would be different from Sasaxia's.]

I've always been partial to swords, myself. And...I like learning different ways to use them. Doesn't mean I'm good at it, but the forms and the blades themselves, their differences and similarities...it's interesting. And good to know, I think.

Estinien is Bean Pole.

Swords are nice, though. Strong.

[The laugh Firoza lets out is one of surprise, louder than her soft-spoken words, but not startlingly so. BEAN POLE........]

He - he is rather tall, isn't he? [pfft] I do prefer to hold a sword, I...ah, ahah, hm! [Okay she's got her composure back, sort of.] So long as it's physical, I can understand it better - so maybe I could try to use a lance sometime. But it just wouldn't be the same.
