This place is bizarre, and having one of the roundest birds Keldor's ever seen following him about is getting rather annoying. To say nothing about how his feline friend is currently eying it like a snack.
[OOC: He's got Panthor with him, but Panthor can be either normal-sized (like, rl!pony-sized), or a rather purple Maine Coon cat, if you'd rather deal with him being littler.]

Fluttershy doesn't realizes that he's there at first, as she continues to take care of the Woobat. But the Bat Pokemon catches sight of him and, unfortunately, his feline companion. A little nervous, the bat then ducks behind one of Fluttershy's wings.
Which does have Fluttershy finally taking notice that she has wings, as well as the fact that there was someone there.
"Oh...um...h-hello?"
no subject
Wings aren't weird.
It's the pokemon that are weird.
"Greetings," says the blue man dressed up like a Conan extra. "I— Can you tell where I am? It is not on my map, and I do not remember having decided to change course mid-route."
Rowlet flaps about his head.
Panthor licks his lips.
"And... What manner of creatures these things are?"
Don't got them back in Eternia, that's for sure. Giant purple cats. Green tigers. Big, fierce dragons. You name it. But no pokemon.

"Well, this isn't the same world that you came from. There are a lot of us that were brought here from different worlds and universes. And these creatures are called Pokemon." After a bit of coaxing, she's able to draw the Woobat out from behind her wings and back into her arms. "They're the animals of this world, and they have all sorts of different abilities."
no subject
The fact that Fluttershy isn't cowering in absolute terror is intriguing.
"Ah," he says, somehow not really all that surprised at the concept of other worlds and the like. If one knows how—or is just really unlucky—traveling to other worlds or even dimensions is a possibility. At least in Eternia. "Odd, though; I sensed no magics when I came upon this place."
Traveling to other dimensions does usually involve magic.
"Pokemon'?"
He tests the word.
"Yes. The fauna of this world is certainly ... unique."
Could also say that about the rocks, the trees...
Your lawnmower...

She brightens up a little, though, as she starts talking about the Pokemon. "Oh yes! They are very unique. There are so many different kinds, and some of them do seem familiar to animals some people have back in their own worlds. But there are ones that are not like anything anyone's ever seen before."
She does seem much more at ease talking about the creatures here.
no subject
"Please. Elaborate if you like about these 'pokemon'."
no subject
"I'm still learning about them myself, but thankfully there's so much information about them! But each Pokemon has a different type, and some even have two types, and there are...I believe eighteen types in total?" She holds up the Pokegear in the Rowlet's direction. "Your Rowlet is a Grass and Flying type, for example." Then she gestures to the Woobat hovering beside her. "And this Woobat is a Psychic and Flying type. The special moves they can do also fall into one of the types, and moves that are the same type as the Pokemon tend to be a bit stronger than moves of different types."
no subject
And there's a lot of the subject matter that goes over his head, but he has to commend her efforts.
"Grass? Does that mean it will use seeds or leaves as a projectile?"
Well actually... Yeah.
no subject
"Yes, actually!" She takes a moment to look up more of Rowlet's information on the Pokegear. "Rowlets can learn moves like Leafage and Razor Leaf, and they'll be stronger than moves of other types. Flying moves would also be pretty strong too, since it's both types."
no subject
Ah, well. At least his opinion of his rowlet has improved now that he knows he's not going to be saddled with something useless.
"How do I witness this? Will it just do it?"

Animals fight each other in nature. That's true. But that's not the cause of his distaste.
People making their creatures fight each other is.
"'Battle'?"
He rescued Panthor from hunters while the cat was still a cub. Yeah, the idea of making creatures duke it out isn't going to sit well with him despite whatever reputation his home world
and canonmight say otherwise.Hey maybe Fluttershy will understand his thoughts on this!

That, he can get his head around.
Sure sounds a lot nicer than battling.

The word "battle" seems to have gotten its attention, for it seems to be rather eager for a bit of "sparring". Certainly wants to engage in some sort of activity
"This creature wishes to engage in some 'sparring'."
Pause.
"Though I am not certain of that."
no subject
Unfortunately, that's not something she was really equipped to help with.
"I, um...I'm not much of a sparring partner. B-But there is a town nearby, I think? There might be people there willing to help out with that."
