I believe you... I was thinking more that you were in the middle of an investigation, anyway. [Considering how badly he flustered at the contest, it's VERY clear Riz is uncomfortable with that sort of thing, at least where she's concerned.] What do you mean by the world hating you?

Oh no, I don't suspect you of anything right now.

[Comforting? Maybe.

Riz sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose for a moment.]

I was in your closet cause I'm trying to get to Goldenrod City, but this world is not letting me.

[She meant investigating the hotel or the town in general, but... you know what, this situation is too weird, she's not even gonna try to correct that.]

Goldenrod? How--wait... do you mean there are spatial distortions?

I don't know. [Riz makes a sweeping gesture with his hands.] I don't know if it's happening to everyone or if this world just has a thing against me, but I've been trying for hours to get to Goldenrod City and I just can't do it. I keep ending up in places like this.

Oh lovely. Hm... Well, if moving through doors and such isn't an option... maybe we could Fly you to Goldenrod?

[That would... still require them getting outside through a door or such, but shhhh that kind of talk would keep her from getting dragged along for the ride~]

We could try. I don't have a pokemon that can fly me anywhere, so I haven't had the chance to try that yet. Do you have two pokemon that can carry people though?

Ah, well... not two. My Altaria Kirlos was bred with the move already, and I have the Zephyr Badge, but not the actual Hidden Machine. But frankly, you are rather small.

[Riz narrows his eyes, but then just snorts in amusement.]

You are lucky I like being small. Actually, if you got a backpack, I could just crawl in there. I've done it before.

[A light nod.] That should work.

[Give her a sec to arrange things to make said backpack more comfy, including lining it with a soft microplush blanket.]

[Riz waits for Allura to finish preparing the backpack, before jumping in, curling up without any problem, until only his face and his large ears are visible. He wriggles for a moment, experimentally, before giving Allura a very serious nod.]

Not bad.

[It's no 300GP Fantasy Armani or whatever the fucking rich people bag Fabian has, but it's nice.]

[It's probably a VERY good thing that VR doesn't have access to the Kalos and Galar boutiques or Allura would go NUTS.]

Thank you. [Alright, she zips it up just enough that Riz should still be able to breathe and slings it onto her shoulder.] All right, let's head out.
