Could be more of a holy place than a communal tomb. There's mostly writing of Pokémon on the wall, and everyone wants something that points to their existence no matter where they were buried. [She gestures at a wall of ancient unknown writing.] Look at those pigments. Incredible how long they lasted, dontcha think?

[As much as she enjoys the solitude, she has to admit that it's nice to share her thoughts with someone who can talk back.]

I might ask the local diggers around here where they usually set up camps and where they keep their research tents. Gotta start with some level of knowledge, yeah?

That makes more sense, given the lack of epitaphs or memorial sites within the ruins. Did you see the puzzle chambers earlier? They seem to depict the long-lost Pokemon of this region.

[She didn't even try to complete the mystery, focusing more on exploration instead. Giving a thoughtful eye to the wall carvings, she nods her head in agreement.]

Indeed. One has to wonder what chemical compositions were used to elicit such a strong red color.

[Even if archeology isn't her strong suit, it's equally nice to have an analytical conversation as well.]

I don't know what kind of answer they'll give you, since their usual banter is sometimes dry. Are you planning on capturing any new Pokemon in the meantime?

We could use a chemist on our team to figure that out. [She sighs happily.] But we don't need a scientist to get past some puzzles! From my experience, ancient mechanisms have to be solvable if you wanted people to access the important stuff it used to hide. What do you say we work together to get past them, eh?

[Her rest is now finished, and Triffany stands to wipe the dirt off of her legs. Her Cubone also stands and adjusts her skull.]

Depends on what I run into. Max here's been a real help with my diggin', but I figure she could use some friends. [And Triffany isn't all that excited about Pokemon unless it's particularly cursed, anyway.]

I'm no chemist, but if you need any assistance in determining how or why something died, then I'll do what I can to help. [It's impossible to hide her smile while pulling back the sleeve of her jacket to examine her watch quickly.] We've got a few hours until sundown, so that might be enough time to solve one.

[That's a not-so-subtle yes on her part as the Lampent behind her happily claps its chandelier-like appendages together.]

Friends are nice, but having a Pokemon that contributes to or enhances your work is better. [Great minds must think alike, as Olivia isn't interested in anything but the creepy and unwanted types.]

Alrighty, then. You wanna lead the way, Maxilla? [Triffany leans down sweetly and pats her Pokemon on the head. The Cubone leans into the petting and nods before walking into the old shrine.] She's so lovely once ya get to know her. I think having her help out does wonders for her mood.

[She rubs her hands gleefully and marches after with large, swinging steps.]

Who knows, maybe we'll even find the remains of a dwelling behind a secret entrance!
