[ The Sobble gives a loud sniffle but ceases it's crying. While it doesn't 'cheer up,' exactly, it does seem less distraught at least. ]

One would think after dealing with children regularly I'd have a better grasp on this, but... It's been quite a lot to take in.

Radley is a bit confused now, since this Dimitri looks like a kid himself. Well, maybe he means children younger than him.]

It has been pretty wild. It's weird even for this place.

You deal with kids all the time? What do you do?

[ He is seventeen, thank you. Nearly old enough to be king! Nearly, but not quite... It's a point of frustration for him but he isn't about to voice such a thing. ]

I help orphans learn self-defense and battle skills. Many of them lost their parents in territory conflicts and skirmishes amongst noble families so... Arming them with the knowledge to better protect themselves and others feels like the least I can do to help ensure the cycle doesn't continue.

[Radley has seen how stubborn and determined the young can be when given a chance. Well, not that he's old, but he feels a lot older than he is sometimes.]
