[ She nods a little, and she isn't sure how to feel about the fact that she won't have her strength permanently. It would make some things easier...but then she has been getting by all right without it so far.

Still, the rest of Allura's words intrigue her a bit. ] Really? Do you think more strange Pokemon might show up now?

[heartofalioness]

I'm not sure. I think it'd be best to keep an eye out, just in case.

[And it's at that moment Allura's passing through some door or archway, aaaand promptly lands in the middle of somewhere flat on her face. That somewhere just happens to be right in Luisa's general facility, which the muscular girl will know by the very regal yelp she suddenly hears.]

[neverbreaks]

[ Luisa had been placing her Pokemon back on the ground when there's a yelp followed by a 'thump' behind her, causing her to jump a little. As she turns, she realizes that it's Allura, having fallen from...somewhere. ]

Oh geez...! [ She hurries over to help the other girl up. ] You okay?

[heartofalioness]

Gah, yes-- Luisa?! [She quickly looks around.] But... I was just... where are we?

[neverbreaks]

Uh...We're in Goldenrod City right now.

[ She had a feeling that Allura hadn't exactly been close to the city a few moments before, though. ]

[heartofalioness]

Golden--... [Facepalm.] All right, THIS is new. I was JUST in Ecruteak.

[neverbreaks]

[ Luisa can't help a surprised look. ] Isn't that a few days away from here?

[heartofalioness]

Exactly. [Sigh.] I think there are some sort of rifts between space and time at the moment. I just walked though an entryway and ended up here.

[neverbreaks]

[ Luisa frowns a little, because that is still a bit much to fully comprehend. ] I guess that would explain how Mirabel and I got here sooner than we expected? We'd been on our way here already, but we thought we wouldn't get here for a couple more days.

[ At least, that's what she assumes if she understands Allura correctly. ]

[heartofalioness]

It would. [Sigh.] What next?

[.... Well about that, Allura...]

[neverbreaks]

Well, um... [ Whatever she's about to suggest trails off as something catches in the corner of her eye, and she looks to see some movement a little distance away. ]

...Do you see that?

[heartofalioness]

[She turns to where Luisa's looking and... yup, that is a little mousy face surrounded with igloo-block scales peering out from behind a corner, tiny white claws gripping the side of the building.]

Oh! It's an Alolan Sandshrew. As far as I know, they're only found in the Sevii Islands. Either it belongs to someone, or...

[Or maybe it's a wild one displaced by the same distortions teleporting people left and right.]

[neverbreaks]

[ As the Alolan Sandshrew becomes more visible, Luisa looks at it with a curious tilt of her head. ]

Aww...It's kind of cute.

[ As she looks on, though, she notices more movement coming from behind the Pokemon. ]

...Um...Allura?

[heartofalioness]

[Yup, one little Sandshrew waddles up to them... and then suddenly a whole SWARM bounds up, it's like the kitten ambush but ice powers.]

Gah! Where did they all come from?

[neverbreaks]

I don't know!

[ Upon noticing the two young women, the Sandshrew start making their way towards them. ]

What do we do?

[heartofalioness]

Either fight or run. Do you have any of your Pokémon with you? Preferably Fire or Fighting.

[neverbreaks]

Uh... [ She has to take a moment to remember which Pokemon she has on her, and reaches for one of her Pokeballs. ] I have Inigo? I think he has a couple of Fighting moves.

[heartofalioness]

[A brief nod.]

Right. I'll be sure to block Ice moves then. [Ground is weak to Ice, after all.] Let's go, Nara!

[A pop of the Pokéball and out comes Nara, Allura's Pyroar, long mane waving like a banner as she gives the Sandshrews a light glare.]

[neverbreaks]

[ With a nod of her own, Luisa releases Inigo from his Pokeball, and the Mudbray stomps the ground with a hoof. ]

All right, Inigo! Get ready!

[ Inigo gives a bray in response, and braces himself as one of the Sandshrew charges at them. ]

[heartofalioness]

Nara, Flame Charge!

["PyyyROAR!" With a rising yowl, flames spread over Nara's whole body before she slams into the attacking Sandshrew. There's no chance of burning, but with a double weakness to Fire and a considerable level distance, that attack HURTS along with giving Nara a small boost of speed.]

Inigo, Double Kick!

[ The Mudbray charges forward, running up to the nearest Sandshrew and delivering two powerful kicks with his hooves. ]
