Time travel is the worst actually!
Who: Loki and others!
Where: Hisui
When: July
Summary: An event catchall! Will be adding more prompts as the month goes.
Rating: PG-13 for language and like fighting and stuff?
Week 1
Arrival
Waking up suddenly in a strange new world was both disorienting and concerning. Doing it twice in as many weeks is just downright annoying.
Loki is sitting on a log on the outskirts of the camp, glaring daggers at the woman who apparently brought them all here. He is completely still save for his left hand picking at the palm of his right. Violence outside of pokemon battle seems to be completely foreign to this world, but the look in his eye says he would very much like to introduce it in his moment.
He speaks when approached, though his murderous focus stays on the 'scientist.'
"Has anyone found a way to contact our proper time? Outside of this woman's ravings, that is."
Patrol
The night is peaceful here as Loki makes his way through the underbrush with his new friend. Both him and his pokemon move quietly, barely disturbing a leaf or twig as they do.
This, of course, makes for prime shenanigans. If you happen to find yourself out this late, you may feel the faint scratch of something at your back...Turning will reveal Loki in his new clothes wearing a scary looking mask he probably made out of some fallen tree bark.
"Boo."

"Do I...know you?"
no subject
"Oh shit, it pulled you from before the... Nothing, nothing at all. Everything's fine, nothing to worry about."
How do you tell someone that their future involves being infected by a bio-engineered virus, going insane, and becoming a mostly-blank vessel for her and her fellow tenno to pilot?

"Well now I am worried. Do you know me?" he asks again, this time with a bit more force behind it.

"Nnngh, I shouldn't have said anything... but maybe this timeline can be different? Temporal axioms was never my strong suit, so I dunno if we can do that ourselves, or if our timeline is fixed but there are also others?" She's pretty clearly talking to herself, and shakes her head to come back to the present.
"I guess we start with when you are. Has the old-- well, you wouldn't know it as that, you'd just know it was a war. Has the war started?"

"I think the Loki you know might be a different Loki." It happens. He doesn't know it yet, but there's a lot of them.

Her mood has flipped a full 180 in about three seconds, and she's not meeting his gaze anymore.

"Yeah... 'not a happy end' is putting it very mildly."

"The Orokin took their best warriors - and eventually just anybody they could find - and infected them with a special virus. This turned their bodies into an amalgam of flesh and steel and gave them superhuman abilities, but eventually each and every one lost themselves. They turned on their masters the way an animal would, not as people rising up in rebellion.
"They were going to scrap the project until they realized we could command them, inhabit them with our minds from afar. Each one was fitted with a bolt that we could... interface with, I suppose; I believe that this is what suppressed their minds. The Orokin turned them into dolls."

"Well that's rather unpleasant."
no subject
"Still. Mine wins."
