New Bark Town Mingle Log

There was some interest expressed in doing a New Bark Town mingle log, so I'm throwing this up here for anyone who wants to do it:

Who: Anyone who wants to!

Where: Mom's House, New Bark Town

When: August 14th

Summary: There is a huge group at Mom's! What are they doing?

Rating: Probably no higher than PG

Radley looks up from reuniting with most of his Pokemon to see that everyone else is doing the same ... mostly. Although there are some very strange things going on. It sounds like someone is in the closet. Someone else is yelling for help getting off the ... fridge? And it's wall to wall people everywhere.

"Oh boy...."

He gets up and looks for both a way out of here and a path to whoever needs help. His Pokemon warble and follow him, or rather, all he can't carry follows him. Cosmo the Ralts stays clinging to his neck. She was already extremely shy and reluctant to let go of Radley before all this happened. She may never let go of him now....

"Uh..." Luisa hesitates just a moment, pausing while trying to get her Tyranitar, Sergio, out of the door.

"...Maybe? It'd be easier if I could get them back in their Pokeballs, but they don't wanna seem to go back just yet."

Which, all things considered, she couldn't really blame them.

[crystalmaster]

"Yeah, I can imagine. Hmm. Well, what if you go out first? They probably wanna be with you, so they might follow."

[neverbreaks]

"Oh..." She actually hadn't thought of that, and she steps back a bit to let Sergio step back as well. "Yeah, I guess I can try that."

Seeing that all her Pokemon are watching her, Luisa walks out the door and takes a couple of steps outside.

And all her Pokemon scramble to catch up with her.

Radley chuckles. It's touching to watch. When he moves to follow, his tear after him as well.

"I'm glad they're happy to see us, instead of feeling like we abandoned them."

He had worried about that so long every day, especially since he had felt abandoned back home and had never wanted any of his loved ones to have to feel the same way.

Luisa nods as her Pokemon crowd around her, eager for cuddles as well as getting to meet her new Pokemon from Hisui. "Yeah, I was really worried about that too. I'm glad they were waiting for us."

[crystalmaster]

"I sure wonder what they've been up to," Radley muses. "I wonder if we'll ever know." He cuddles his Pokemon close. "I wish they all could have come.... I have a couple more back in Goldenrod. I need to get to them too."

[neverbreaks]

"Yeah, it would have been nice if they all could have come with us. But I think it's also good that they didn't. The people back then didn't seem to have as much experience with Pokemon as the people now, so if we all had shown up with so many of them they might have been a little freaked out."

[crystalmaster]

"Yeah, I guess so, maybe."

Lily chirps. She's happy to make friends with the Pokemon Radley has talked about so much.
