Video/Action for Goldenrod

[At first, the video is just a broadcast of two Pikachu and Meowth jumping around and tunneling through a pile of fallen leaves. An occasional amused giggle comes from behind the camera. After a few minutes, the peace is interrupted as an Aggron unceremoniously dives into the leaf-pile as well, scattering her teammates. One of the Pikachu is the first to return, scolding the Aggron in rapid chatter and sparking from her cheeks. The Aggron, unimpressed, lets out a snort as the leaves float down from the air to settle back on top of it.]

It's been a year, today.

[Penny turns the camera to herself, smiling quietly.]

Since I arrived in Johto, I mean. A lot's changed since then, I think.

[She turns her Gear back towards her Pokemon; the three from earlier seem to be clambering all over the Aggron, making an effort to bury her entirely in the leaves.]

But I like it here. That hasn't changed. If I have to be somewhere other than home, I'm glad it's here.

... It was different. [That's all she says for a couple seconds, letting her thoughts settle into something... straightforward.]

It was very different compared to here, or maybe a lot of places. Different rules, different way of living... different kinds of people.

[She clears her throat.] For starters, um, it was surrounded on all sides by these giant walls.

...I don't know. [She gives a small shake of her head.] I, uh, still don't know what's out there.

[It's the way she states it, so simply, almost plainly, that hits Rakka. It always does.]

What's behind the walls is a mystery to everyone that lives in the town. And we're not allowed to go outside them. Especially if you're a Haibane, it's a law.
