Hey this is probably a super weird thing to ask but you know how when we got here we had, you know, the shit in our pockets? Would anyone be willing to sell me some keys? Nothing valuable or that you've got a use for here or anything, I just got a Klefki I wanna get some treats for and he likes novelty.

Yeah, I know about thrift stores. Spent half my life dressing myself outta them. Keys can be tricky to find in places like that, though, that's the kinda thing that most folks either hold onto or toss out, not try to sell or donate. I guess they figure a key without a lock ain't something other people would be looking for.

Keychains might not be a bad idea, if I can find some solid metal ones.

Oh, I guess that makes sense, yes. Well, do you think anything metal that could hang like that, he'd appreciate? Because there are all kinds of directions you can take, if so. The wind-up for a watch, some bottle caps, or even safety pins... Those all can be nice accessories.

Worth a try. All the pokedex info seems to indicate that they like keys specifically, but I'm not sure exactly how much he understands the difference between a key something else key sized? Like on a conceptual level.

I don't know. Pokemon are smart, but I also don't see why one would be interested in keys to begin with, so...

I mean, it kind of sounds like you're stuck if he only wants keys.

Yeah, Klefki are kind of weird little guys? They're like, living key rings, the pokedex says they used to be used to guard keys to important vaults and stuff.

I'll figure something out.

So they would do a job, then? I've noticed a few Pokemon seem perfect for different kinds of work, actually. It's kind of neat.

Yeah, totally. I kinda want to get my hands on one of those motorcycle lizards at some point.
