Oh look, these little guys don’t look too terrifying at a lot. I think that they are pretty cute for such a feisty new Pokémon species.

(Isabela is seen on the video feed as she takes a good look on a pack of strange looking plant like Pokémon with short stubby limbs and something resembling eggshells on their heads walking about terrorizing folks of Azalea Town by letting the spiciness on their leaves to get to them. Antonio the Ponyta’s whining can be hear as he stares at the ongoing chaos on the streets. How on earth is this even possible for these walking chili pepper plants to run around freely and giving people fits while Isabela has not fallen into their defense mechanisms besides being a major plant nerd? Yes, she is probably well aware of how much trouble chili peppers can be to people’s stomachs and eyes but she chooses not to disclose it just yet.

Meanwhile, the Slowpoke in Azalea are not harmed by any means by these new Pokémon and their older brethren, a group of big two headed walking chili peppers, at all. It appears that even these spicy peppers seem to respect this unspoken golden rule of not harming Slowpokes in this town. This woman is clearly too enamored by their appearance that she may not be aware of the dangers of being so close to them.)

I haven’t seen any of these guys before and, oh my goodness, aren’t they such lovely creatures. My PokéGear’s dex said that they are part Grass and part Fire type and may have roots in a region called Paldea. That’s also where Amanratha and Veria’s kin come from too. I also like to point out that Grass/Fire is not a common type combination from what I have noticed but I would love to see a pretty unique species for myself so badly that I can’t resist the opportunity to see this swarm in action today. Come to think of it, I might want to catch one of these feisty little guys for my team.

(Uh oh, Isabela please! This is a very ‘bad’ idea. Can somebody try to convince her to not catch a feisty chili pepper Pokémon in the middle of a very hot day? Spoiler alert: she is most likely going to ignore any advice or warning just to add in the grass Mon side of her team.)

Back at our world, almost everyone in the family gets a gift or a magical ability from the miracle at the age of five. I could grow plants while Camilo has the ability to the change of his form at will.

Ah... so it is a form of magic. I see. Such things where I hail from tend to be the work of science and technology. Myself included.

Whoa! Your world happens to be full with science and technology. That sounds pretty impressive, I don’t get the chance to see so many tech in one sitting back at home.

I hope so as well, Shadowmaru. I can hope that I will be able to get to use them in catching one of those pepper Pokémon soon enough.

Ah, then we are even! I hardly saw a speck of magic in my world.

This one has quite a bit. Have you found yourself adapting all right?

Oh I have been slowly adapting and holding up in this world mighty well. Aside from some run ins with wild Pokémon and getting displaced across the region a few months ago, I am doing a lot better than I was expecting.

Ah, how wonderful to hear.

I suppose the displacement was during that strange weekend?

Yes. It did took place during that most recent strange weekend. Went from Cherrygrove to Violet City to Azalea Town to Ecruteak City to Mahogany Town to the outskirts of Olivine City before coming back to Cherrygrove again.

It was quite a lot of places to visit for one weekend.

Ugh, those weekends. Such a busy bunch of nonsense, aren't they? It would be so much easier if we didn't have to contend with popping up all over the continent.

Oh yes, I agree. I had a hard time trying to avoid the whole popping up all over the whole region and I must felt very tired from all that teleporting. That one was quite one big headache.

[sassymaru]

Alas, there isn't much to be done in terms of preventing it. Even sitting very still in one's house cannot fully keep us from teleporting.

I've attempted as much.

Yeah quite a tough reality we have to deal with. I wonder if Luisa has told me if she and Mirabel have experienced strange moments during those weekends too. They have been in the region and this world much longer than I do.

Oh? You know Ms. Luisa?

Oh yes. Luisa, Mirabel, and I come from the same world and we’re also sisters.

Luisa I consider a friend - a very brave one at that.

That’s really great. Luisa is an amazing lady, never stops to help people out and very hardworking. Also a wonderful friend too. I’m glad that you have gotten to know her well.
