In addition, he seems to have gotten a portion of his bangs dyed deep pink. It's only a stripe from the inside, contrasting with his new piercing.]

Lovely, isn't it~? But of course I wouldn't be showing off such minor changes to my already fabulous appearance without also showing of something a little more daring!!!

[Mettaton then sticks his tongue out, revealing a tongue piercing. Seriously, you can find anyone in Goldenrod to do something for you, can't you?]

[Mettaton might be a little more sympathetic if he knew the reasons behind the tattoo, but as it's likely privileged information, he refrains from prying.

The insinuation that I'm not already "smokin'" is hilarious, sweetheart! Of course, a little extra work couldn't hurt!! Actually, I had been considering having the left side of my face tattooed with my usual appearance--before I was human, I mean! It would go along nicely with the brow piercing!

[Really the only reason he hadn't gone through with the idea is because he isn't sure it would look good on his skintone. That's why he wanted to think on it a little more.]

Okay okay, more smoking, jeeze. You know what I mean!

Facial tattoos...those are tricky. And, ya know, permanent. Plus they hurt like hell. Don't ask how I know, just trust me. It's like...it's like having a cat with poison tipped claws slowly shredding your skin. I'd recommend something a little more, ya know. Removable.

I'll keep that in mind. Even I have a pain threshold, and I'd rather enjoy it than not.

[Mettaton seems to be just a tad disappointed at the fact that facial tattooing might not be viable. Sure, he could get other work done, but it had seemed a good idea. Besides, there were times that he missed being a robot, and his looks weren't awful back when he was made entirely metal.

Ya wanna enjoy it, pick somewhere that's fleshy. Places where the skin's real close to the bone? Not fun pain. Annoying pain.

Well! There's plenty of fleshy places on this body at least! I've never had so many soft spots!!

[As if to demonstrate, Mettaton pokes his own cheek. Truthfully, his face and some parts of his legs had been made of a sort of silicone that was soft to the touch when he was a robot, but he hadn't ever felt fleshy.]
