Wonderful news, network!
[Shadowmaru stands in front of his cottage door. He's wearing a heavy coat and scarf, like he's preparing to go outdoors.]
Thanks to your tremendous assistance and suggestions... my problem has been sorted. And wonderfully so.
[While he speaks, something sparkles in his hair. Is he wearing glitter in his hair? It looks like it's splattered onto the door, too. While he turns to open it, to reveal what's behind - in as dramatic a fashion as possible - more glitter seems to flake off.]
[But more important than that is the absolute unit of a shiny Scolipede hanging out on the porch. Preening.]
Ta-daa~!
[... and when Shadowmaru gestures towards his pokemon, there's a spray of glitter off his arm. Thanks, Snorunts.]

[He's so scandalized! Over the top scandalized.]
He's allowed to roam as he pleases! He's not something to be shut away when one is finished.

I didn’t say permanently. Just until you can get a handle on whatever is going on. This is a bit much even for you.

I suppose I could ask him to remain outside for a time. While the weather is cooperating.

[It's like talking to a child.]
Perhaps Mando can help you clean up.
no subject
It's actually quite entertaining, cleaning my own space.

But if you enjoy it that much... have fun?

[She has been wondering about that.]

Neither of us have enough space without crowding the other's companions. He has children. I have a veritable pack of canines.

Do you not keep any of your pokemon in balls?
no subject
No. Not if I can help it. If they want to stay there, they're welcome to. But I prefer not to.
no subject
Ah. While I see the merit to that it would get crowded quickly. It’s not something I could do.
no subject
[Well probably. But they both have full houses... Mando's considering buying his own, sure, but... hm.]
It's a personal preference, really. I can hardly fault anyone for doing differently.

[She hated saying it. It was like a barb to her soul, but it was honest.]
Family is very important to Mandalorians. If you intend to be part of his then you should act like it.

His children are important to him, are they not? What sort of partner would disrespect that by crowding them out? Or inserting themselves into their lives before the children are ready?

I think you’re thinking too hard on this.
First of all you’ve known Mando just as long as they have, haven’t you? If you’re distant they’ll think you don’t care about them. Riz doesn’t even see Mando as his dad, and Boober is very easy to get along with. Plus they’re not that young. All you have to do is talk to them and get to know them. I really don’t think you would be intruding.
Private
When they're ready, I'm happy to join them. They are in discussion of purchasing a home.

[Thats not something she’s heard.]
Well, it doesn’t hurt to take some initiative. I can say from experience that if you want something, you should pursue it. Otherwise… you might miss your chance.
[Theres a pause and a small sigh before she waves her hand dismissively.]
Anyway, do what you want.
[She thinks she’s had enough of this conversation.]
