Event: The Reveal Glass

Across the Pokémon world, characters may have spotted a falling star last night. Or at least, one would think that's what it was: a naturally occurring phenomenon, rather than a legendary artifact. Specifically, the Reveal Glass fell to earth during a fight among a group of legendaries started by the return of a long-lost family member. But it's probably best to leave them to handle all that themselves, while your characters deal with other consequences.
The Reveal Glass shattered upon impact, and the shards scattered throughout Kanto, Johto, and the Sevii Islands… And made their way into the hearts of your characters. But bleeding isn't the concern here. Instead, the impact will hit when a character first looks into any reflective service. An eerie feeling hits them as they're transported to the Mirror Dimension.
While this realm can be many different things for different characters, one thing is always true: It is a place of honesty, where true selves are revealed. Those struck by a shard will find themselves facing truths they are no longer able to hide, and now must accept. Fortunately enough, even those who haven't been struck will be able to enter the Mirror Dimension during this event via a reflective surface to offer help. By the end of the 29th, things will return to normal. Characters will be back in the usual Pokémon world and their hearts will be rid of the shards, but time is strange in the Mirror Dimension, and the experience may feel like it goes on far longer than a day. Or, maybe that's just the emotional exhaustion.
The Reveal Glass plot is here. You can swing by the event info post for additional details and FAQ, and play out your characters’ enforced therapy on this post. As with most VR events, this plot is entirely optional and your characters don't need to take part at all.
Kurama / Shuichi Minamino 🌹 OTA
The air is thicker here, smelling faintly of sulfur, rot and decay. The sky painted in reds as a sun on the horizon. There is no sun to be seen, but the forest appears normal enough with dark lush green trees. It could be any other forest on this world, especially some of the more unsettling ones, maybe even one back home.
The area seems devoid of life, there are no Pokémon to be seen, no animals one might recognize from their own world and no path leading any obvious direction in or out. There is a clearing up ahead, a fairly small one full of fallen trees.
Other than that, there is nothing.
That is until a small blue fox is noted nearby, with four long tails behind him.
A. The fox is running away, bolting out of hiding and towards the clearing, tails streaming behind as the animal races at full speed as if being chased.
B. Maybe he is coming closer, perhaps even carrying something from the clearing in his mouth.
C. Or running by, not exactly away or approaching but seemingly on a mission of some sort.
D. The fox is inspecting the base of a nearby tree, seeming extremely interested in what appears to be a box there. Perhaps something he was searching for.
E. Wildcard me, request a specific starter, hit me up at
[ooc: please note your preference in your tag if you want Kurama to be able to communicate with your character during this or not. I will play him either way, just let me know! His natural cry is very similar to a fox scream, we don't have confirmed canon on speech but for the sake of this type of event I am assuming he can be understood in this form.]
D.
Radley is not sure what to make of the scene. He coughs, not liking the faint unpleasant smells on the air. Then the fox catches his attention. He watches curiously at the animal's interest in the box. Finally he takes a few steps forward.
"Hey there...."
no subject
He hadn't completely worked out the seals to get the box open and retrieve the contents before being interrupted so the fox turns to face the stranger with apprehension. The sound that comes from the creature is more like a shriek than anything else, but the meaning is quite clear.
"It would be wise to keep your distance."
Was he bluffing? Hard to tell, in this mirror dimension Kurama isn't actually aware of his capabilities or how they might be limited. Not that the other guy would know that, even if he was familiar with the youko’s power.
no subject
He holds up his hands. "Okay, okay." Yeah, he's not about to come between a possibly dangerous wild animal and its treasure.

Something was off, but at least the appeasing gesture relaxes him a fraction, still guarded but clearly not looking for a fight.
The words still seem to come from nowhere, the fox continuing to respond with an animalistic cry. "What are you doing here?"
More importantly, what did he want from him? The concept that this was a chance meeting might be a little foreign at the moment, but his human awareness was starting to slip in, clouding his perception.
Demons looking for a fight didn't tend to smell like fear.

"You're not from this world." There was no demonic energy coming off of him at all. The words are more clear, as if spoken by a human, finally. Although the voice wouldn't be recognizable as Shuichi's by anyone that had met him as a human.
Kurama sits, tails curling around his legs lazily. The lingering urge to remain within a safe distance of the box was still present, but it hardly seemed important anymore.
"Are you looking for a way out?" It feels like that's what he should be doing, himself.
The thought that he should be trying to find Kuwabara and Rui occurs to him distantly, but the memory hasn't quite resurfaced. The fox doesn't have memories of them and the human memories still feel separate and detached, not his but someone else's.

"If this world is foreign to you perhaps that will prove useful. There must be a connection between this world and the one you've come from."

coming back from a bit of a hiatus, sorry!
That's okay!

Fluttershy couldn't help a shiver as she wanders in the strange world, trying her best not to let her fear overwhelm her. It was difficult though, with how disconcerting the entire place felt, so barren and dark and empty.
So when she spots a fox, she can't help a sigh of relief, grateful to see anything alive here.
"E-Excuse me...?"
no subject
The fox comes to a halt a few feet away from the stranger, curious but clearly wary.
"You don't belong here." It isn't a question or accusation, merely an observation. She was out of place.

Everything looked pretty much the same in every direction, and she worried that going anywhere might result in her getting even more lost...or worse.
