[The PokeGear opens on a wing of the natural history museum in Cascarrafa. The most visible display is a timeline about the Age of Exploration in Paldea, trailing all along one wall of the hallway and through various artifact shadowboxes and other such displays. There’s a scan along this wall for a moment before Huey pops up, eyes practically glowing.]
Look at all this incredible information! Like- hold on-
[BLURRY. Then he points out a specific part of the timeline.]
Did you know the academy that’s hosting us was created over 800 years ago??
[He grins.]
I could spend weeks in this city! There’s all kinds of museums here-
[There’s a sigh from someone-off camera, before Louie leans into the shot. He doesn’t look nearly as excited as Huey - quite the contrary - but there’s some amusement in his expression, all the same.]
Yeah, we’re not doing that. Our next stop is to check out the place across the street selling antiques. [He turns to his brother with a smirk.] After all, Hue, you’re not the only one whose birthday it is today.
[That gets a snort out of Huey who rolls his eyes, though not without a smirk of his own.]
Fine. [And back to the PokeGear] Point is, if you like history, be sure to swing by Cascarrafa’s museums.
[Louie snickers, laying his arms over his brother’s head and teasingly leaning against him to get better in frame… And to be a nuisance, of course.]
And if you want to help two recently reunited triplets celebrate their birthday, we will accept any and all gifts!
[That gets a squawk out of Huey.]
Louie!
[Was that at the brotherly leaning? The blatant request?
Yes.]
((OOC: Tags will come from either Huey or Louie, or both! All in their own threads))

So....what wing of the museum has the age of exploration exhibit....
[Emporio is at the Statues. He's at the paintings. He's at the combination Statues-Paintings-]
..........................You guys didn't just leave and go into another museum right..?
[help]

No, we're still at the same museum. How long have you been missing us?
[Wait.]
Or is... this you noticing we got separated?
no subject
[At least he can laugh this off??? This is what you signed up for Huey. This is the guy you have now become F R I E N D S with.]
Yes?

It doesn't help that while Huey may be surprised Emporio didn't notice the brothers' absence sooner, Louie can't say he's much better.]
We didn't ditch you! I thought you must've gone to use the bathroom... Once I realized you weren't with us...
[OOPS.]

[Louie this sounds a lot like he was completely forgotten while you both wandered off-]
Should I come to you or the other way around..?

There are several reasons he can think of why that must be strange. He's going to do his best not to draw attention to them.]
Happy birthday. Looks like you guys are having a good time.

[Yep, two of three triplets here. Nothing sad or upsetting to this particular one about that, nosirree.]
We sure are! I had to talk Louie into it, sure, but another friend of ours helped with that.
[As did copious amounts of promising to check out the antique markets after the fact...]
no subject
As long as you both get to do the things you want to do at some point, that seems fair.
[Louie does look like he's having a good time, but even after being talked into it... it doesn't seem to be because of the museum.]

Hey, if you're looking to capitalize on birthdays, pretty sure most restaurants offer some kind of birthday special or discount. Don't know if that's how it works in this region, but you could probably get some mileage out of it.
[Something about one of those kids just strikes him as the type to enjoy that sort of convenience. Then again, maybe he's already thought about it.]
Anyway, I'll have to swing by that Museum sometime. Definitely seems more expansive than the one in Pewter City.
no subject
[...Oh dear he's truly turning into his uncle(s)-]
There's a museum in Pewter City? I haven't ever had the chance to go there! What's it like?
no subject
[So... different, definitely. But, hey, kids like fossils, right? Dinosaurs. Granted, it's also easy to get living ones at this point, if you know the right people.
Eh. He'll just have to play it by ear.]

[You'd think someone so money-focused would be familiar with the practice, but he's used to parties at home with family. Neither Donald nor Scrooge were jumping to take the boys out to birthday dinners, albeit for different reasons.]
If you're half as into history as my brother, you'll probably have fun here. And even if you're not, it still could be worth it to check out Cascarrafa. There are more museums here, and picking between them was hard. Not for me, but I trust my brother as an authority on all things learning.
no subject
[Well, setting aside Johto and Kanto for obvious reasons. There's a nostalgic sort of smile on Riku's face.]
Wonder if it's because we've been here so long, the other regions aren't so wary of us. It's been... geez, almost fifteen years since this all started.

[ Yes she is absolutely sending them gifts. ]
Hey, have you been checking things out here? Any part of Paldea, I mean. 'Cause I thought maybe we could hang out while we're here and it'll be easier.
[Not that they're really at all far apart back on the Sevii Islands, but...
He misses her. And maybe he'd like to talk to her about some stuff that's been going on.]

[He's speaking with fondness, honest. At the moment they're in different rooms but he knows his brother well, they don't have to be near each other for him to know that.]

Happy birthday. I will gladly tell my beloved of the museum, so thank you for the recommendation. He does find such things so very interesting.
However, on the subject of gifts, where would we send them? Is there anywhere in particular?
no subject
We'll be going around different spots for a while, but if you'll be more in one place, I can always send Peso to pick up--
[He stops abruptly, and winces.]
Well, no, I don't think sending a Corviknight flying around in this region is a good idea. I could send Bamboo, though.

You're welcome! I certainly hope the trip is enjoyable and fulfilling to the nth degree.
So he's a big history fan, then?
[He'll just leave the mention of gifts to Louie's department...]

[It's just. You know. The third one isn't here.]

[Louie smiles smugly as he continues.]
I've been here longer, so today's my 16th birthday. Huey's only turning 14.
