[ooc: Post backdated to a few days ago.]

[This time the video opens to a view of what some might recognise as the Bamboo Forest. Riz and Adaine have been travelling to handle some assignments --they are nerds, after all-- but it looks like Riz has run into a little problem.

The little problem hovers cheerfully in front of the camera and jingling the keys hanging from its arms, one of which just happens to be a dorm room key.

Riz himself is not on screen. His hand is though, as he flips off the Klefki.]


Okay, hit me with every idea you've got for getting this thing to give me back my key. I'll take everything into consideration at this point.


[Adaine is probably somewhere off screen laughing as Riz battles with one small key thief.]

It is rather cute, isn't it? In a shrubby sort of way.

[ No, that's not a real word. Yes, she'll stand by it as a descriptor.

Adaine will wait for Riz to send the photo, holding her gear at the ready to film the battle. ]

Ready when you are!

[Riz snaps a quick picture, before looking at his little dragon.]

Ready Spin?

[Oh Spin cycle is ready!! He was born (hatched?) ready and willing to inflict violence. Just let him at 'em. He'll destroy them all.

For Riz's part, owing to Spin's very limited move-set, he doesn't have a lot of thinking to do here.]

Lets start with an Infestation!

[Spin unleashes a dark cloud of skittering creatures on the Shroomish, which it really doesn't seem to like.]

[ Adaine hits record, then steps back to try to get a better angle to catch the battle. ]

Go get him, Spin Cycle!

[ The Shroomish most certainly does not like being infested by tiny bugs, so it does its best to shake them off, but it's unable to flee. Instead, it attempts to Tackle the Dreepy! ]

[The Shroomish impacts with Spin Cycle with a rather meaty thunk, sending him flying backwards. Certainly not enough to take him down, but poor little Spin, no matter how much he craves violence, won't be able to take too many of those.

Unfortunately, Infestation doesn't stack, so there is no sense in busting out that move again.]

Go for a Bite, Spin!

[It's a little silly watching the Dreepy try and get purchase on such a round body, but somehow he manages, sinking his little teeth into his opponent.]

[ The Shroomish shrieks when bitten, clearly not not happy about it. It may have been banking on its thick, round body being relatively un-biteable, but the Dreepy seems to have managed it somehow.

Not liking where the fight is going, the Shroomish uses Absorb, to try to get some HP back while damaging the Dreepy at the same time! ]
