[This time the video opens to a view of what some might recognise as the Bamboo Forest. Riz and Adaine have been travelling to handle some assignments --they are nerds, after all-- but it looks like Riz has run into a little problem.

The little problem hovers cheerfully in front of the camera and jingling the keys hanging from its arms, one of which just happens to be a dorm room key.

Riz himself is not on screen. His hand is though, as he flips off the Klefki.]


Okay, hit me with every idea you've got for getting this thing to give me back my key. I'll take everything into consideration at this point.


[Adaine is probably somewhere off screen laughing as Riz battles with one small key thief.]

Well, alright, it's probably impossible for any kind of warm drink not to smell a little bit good.

[He can't deny that, it's a fact! The same goes for warm soups and the like, too, after all. But that's all he'll admit, personally: A little bit good.]

That's why herbal teas smell good, too. Very good, and soothing! Just like they taste. Although I don't mind you not liking them, it means I don't run out as quickly as I would if we shared.

[Listen, you have no idea how much of his own tea Mokey somehow ends up drinking, back at Fraggle Rock!]

Hah. Just wait. You're gonna have to defend your teas from Adaine. She likes the stuff too.

[How? Why? He simply cannot say. Why would anyone drink the leaf juice that doesn't even give you a good boost, when you could be drinking coffee?]

[Boober gives an amused snort, shaking his head. Talking with Adaine while they share a pot of tea sounds nice, really!]

I'll have to make sure I always have enough tea for the both of us at the apartment, then.

[Wait, but he keeps almost forgetting--] Or, well... I guess soon that would be at the house, not the apartment.

Right that's-- will you believe I almost forgot about that? We should probably check with Mando if it's still on schedule.

[A pause and then.]

We'll still be sleeping together at the new place, right? I mean, not like that obviously, but just.

[it's silly, and they don't really need to, but Riz has gotten pretty used to sharing a room with Boober and hear his snoring during the night. If Boober wanted his own room that he could keep perfectly neat and hoard more things in, Riz obviously wouldn't throw a fit, but just. It's nice.]

Yes, I can believe it. I almost did, too. It's change, and sometimes it's easier not to think about those.

[Boober's actually quite happy about the house, but it's still something new to adjust to!

But Riz's question surprises him, because frankly, the idea of them not sharing a room? It never even crossed his mind. That would be a bad change.]

Oh. Yes, of course-- I mean, I should have asked and not just assumed, I guess. But I like having bunk beds. I especially like sharing a room with you. I feel safe that way, and it's good because I'm there for you, too.

Cool. Cool cool. [Hey, Riz had assumed the same thing so he is definitely not holding it against Boober.] I know I can be kind of... a pain to share a room with, so I wasn't sure if you hadn't gotten tired of me yet.

[Hearing that Boober feels safe sharing a room with him makes something inside of him sit up and preen. He always wants to keep his friends safe, so knowing that he is succeeding in that, at least when it comes to Boober, is very nice.

Well, plus, it is Boober and therefore extra special. With everybody else, Riz would feel just a pleased if they felt safe due to the presence of other people, but with Boober, he really wants it to be him.]
