[Once more, it's been a few months took to the network. This isn't unusual, no, but her birthday has come and gone, and she hasn't done her usual introspective rambling on that day. But when the feed clicks on today, revealing a paler-than-usual Elsa, looking quite deflated... it doesn't take a genius to see that Something's Up.

The fact that she's got a Charizard - definitely not a part of Elsa's roster - whining and nudging her cheek in a comforting manner is another clue.]

For those who knew her, my sister, Princess Anna, has returned home.

[She usually tries to look on the bright side of things like this but this... this was different.]

We were... separated, for a very long time. Upon arriving here, were were able to start making up for all those lost years. So to be separated from her like this, again... It's a terrible thing.

I suppose I should be a bit thankful, that our world is relatively peaceful. We have friends and good people with us in the castle, so she won't be in any danger. But... [She just sighs, her free hand reaching up to stroke the Charizard's snout.] I suppose I'm just selfish, wishing she was here instead of where she belongs.

But... you love her. I don't think anyone would get angry at you for missing her... or feeling lonely.

[ ... Naminé knows what it's like to be lonely, after all. ]

[It's awful, isn't it? It's a pain that she was so used to, but hasn't felt in over two years. She supposes this must be what it feels like to have a healing wound ripped open again; only just now appreciating not being in pain, only to have it returned full-force...]

Just because I love her doesn't mean I'm not selfish. I'm still thinking more about my own feelings than I am of her happiness.

[She'll never say she doesn't love her little sister - everything she's gone through is proof of that - but that doesn't completely lift all of this off of her shoulders.]

[ She can understand the selfishness bit. Feeling like you're the worst when you want to have someone by your side, even if it means hurting them. Naminé is sure Anna's being here doesn't hurt her, but... she also knows that a lot of people miss their homes dearly.

Naminé's not sure she understands that, though.

Oh, boy. This is all very complicated, isn't it? Even after all the time she spent in Johto and Kanto before, she still doesn't quite know how to comfort people.

She'll do her best, though, because Elsa is her friend. ]

Mm... Missing someone you care about... I don't think that's selfish. It's just... natural, I think?

[ She does sound pretty unsure about that--maybe because she's still getting used to letting herself feel more. ]

Oh, that we can agree on at the very least. I'm too familiar with that feeling to consider it negative, exactly.

[Harmful in the long run? Yes, that's what's bad about longing to see someone. That will hurt you. Permanently.]

But there's a difference between just missing someone and wishing they would be pulled from everything they've ever known again.

[ She pauses, and... oh, this really is hitting close to home. Pulled from everything they've ever known... She'd almost done that to Sora.

I think... it would be much worse, if you didn't think it wasn't a good thing.
