I have a quick question for you all this evening. What sort of Normal type Pokemon are you all familiar with? I've...just been wondering lately if you could really call Whitney's gym Normal type gym if most of her team is apparently dual-typed, or...turned out to be the Fairy type! Ah...well, anyway, what's your experiences with plain old Normal types? Are there some you'd favor over others? I'd like to hear about them.

That makes sense! We as trainers end up with quite the motley crew, but somehow or another, the crew all comes to care about each other no matter how often they interact. It's really quite sweet.

That’s the good thing about this place. Even if it doesn’t last long… At least yer gettin’ a taste of how it feels ta just be at ease and have a little freedom. Some folks especially don’t get that.

Yeah...[A soft breath.] The freedom is something I seemed to be lacking a lot in my life, but the ease...it's nice to have that back. At the very least, it's reassuring.

Oh, very unique. Even moreso than anything I've encountered back home, and that's saying quite a lot!

Alright! Then that's very easy. I grew up in Washington state, which is in the northwest of the United States of America. We'd get a good amount of snow in the wintertime, and while our house was in a fairly populated area, there's lots and lots of parts where there's just trees for as far as the eye can see. It's really quite peaceful...

Oh! That sounds like a pretty nice place. Y’know, I always heard of America while in England, but I never had a chance ta visit. What would ya say makes it different from a place like Johto?

Well, it's definitely much larger, for one. There's tons upon tons of groups of cultures spread out all over the nation, while here, there's a lot of...hm, I suppose, Japanese influence? Not that Japan is probably even a thing here.

Hey. Probably haven't even heard the word. But I wonder if it's because Johto and Kanto are right next ta each other that they're so alike?

Probably. It's not like we have a lot of easy access to any other regions.

Well, I imagine troublemakin’ folks that have caused such trouble in the last while have ta come from somewhere, right?

That's true. Two regions can only hold so many troublemakers.

Wish they’d stick around long enough for the rest of us ta ask how they got here and if we can go take a visit of their place!
