[The feed opens on a view of a Pokemon egg, just starting to shake and shed tiny flakes of its shell.]
Look! It is hatching! It has taken a while - I had started to wonder if I should worry.
[Bits of eggshell continue falling off. There's a flash of a dark eye, and then the little Skiddo bashes its way out of the egg with several precise kicks and headbutts, stumbling out into the world. Asgore moves to steady it with a hand, but it leans away, apparently determined to stand on its own. Its fur is a creamy white, and it has golden horns, pinkish hooves, and pale green leaves around its neck. Yeah, it's from the post-prom eggs.]
Hello, little one! It is nice to meet you!
Do! [The baby Skiddo cries and headbutts Asgore in the leg.]
Ha ha! My, what well-developed horns! And I believe that is not the ordinary coloration for a Skiddo either. Why does that happen with all the mysteriously-appearing eggs?

[She turns the camera to a stark white Litten with bright orange stripes]
Mine doesn't look anything like the one in the pictures I've seen. Not that I'm complaining.

From what I have seen, it appears all the eggs we received recently are hatching this way.

I'd feel less special but look at her! She's adorable!
Maybe...it's 'cause they're special and mysterious?
no subject
I suppose that could be! Maybe whatever left them here likes to make their gifts unique.
no subject
Yeah! And nothin's more unique than different colors. But I think all the Pokemon are unique no matter what color they are.

[ Even if he doesn't know Asgore, he seems one to respect from this knight. But really, Haurchefant respected pretty much everybody. As he speaks, he lazily shifts the camera to point at the pink-furred Mareep who's currently being annoyed by a Goomy and Kingdra, after a bit of a spar. ]
I thought it a little strange for Estinien to be his shade - but perhaps whomever left these eggs knows much on how to breed them in splendid shades.

[Rakka's egg had hatched several days ago, and the blue Houndour puppy was currently sleeping in her lap. Apart from sneezing flames a couple times, he's been pretty good!]
I don't know why, but... I get the feeling that they're special like this.

Maybe they're special Elite Four pokemon?

An' they're all sparkly, too! Maybe they're extra-magic or somethin'?

[She sure seems to enjoy headbutting. And, uh, staring?]
no subject
Yeah! Baby didn't really wanna, but maybe Lil' Pal will? An', um, if he does then they can practice t'gether!

[She blinks, pondering about what was said.]
...You said that is not a normal coloration for it?

What do you suppose caused the change in coloration?

[He folds his arms, looking over his shoulder. In the background, a keen observer might spot a shiny Aegislash and Charziard hovering around a newly-hatched shiny Froakie.]
Honestly, I don't think anyone's figured out why, and functionally, there's not much of a difference between them and their regular-colored counterparts. Maybe it's some genetic thing? Like a less harmful albinism. Heck if I know.
Point being, it's cool as heck.

[Heh. Sure, it sounds real sucky, but how can he judge a condition he's never lived through?]
Honestly, the worst I've dealt with was low self-esteem with Cinder. She's always been pretty self-conscious about her color.

[Baby grass goat, this is not a drill.]
And- the eggs that show up like this do seem to hatch into differently-colored Pokemon quite a lot, don't they? Mine hasn't hatched yet, but the LAST egg I got like this did the same.
It happens with regular eggs too- my Vaporeon's differently colored than usual, and that egg I just got from a breeder.
