[Diana turns the camera on, looking bedraggled and peeved off.]

So, after whatever the hell that was this weekend, I really wanted to just sleep for like, a whole day. But this is what I woke up to in my face this morning.

[She turns the camera to show off the grinning face of a Lycanroc.]

What the hell, Ingno? Why do you look like that?

[The Lycanroc grins wider, letting its tongue loll out of its mouth.]

Lana didn't turn into something this creepy. I nearly punched you in the nose!

[The wolf-like creature doesn't seem to care, it shakes its head and runs over to sit beside another Lycanroc (Midday Form). Diana sighs off screen.]

Great, because it already didn't take me- [Pause. There's four, large, round shadows near the dogs feet.]

Lana... What the hell are those?

Thanks for helping me out this weekend. You probably don't remember but also you gave me an egg when I first got here, so now I'm giving you one back.

Hey Walt, Charlie hatched, he's real cute. My guys had some eggs too, so I guess this is my thanks for letting me have him.

[Okay, so Jinx doesn't actually get a note. Diana just drops an egg onto her stomach to wake her up.]

[Sleepy Jinx looks at the egg, then Diana's retreating form then the bird finally she leans over the bed and pokes noir]

Did you do this?

[Noir grunts his denial and rolls over onto his back.]

Well...OK new egg I guess.

[Diana clambers back into her sleeping bag while Strut perches atop Jinx's head.]

Egg! Egg!

Yes I am aware I have an egg now...A dog egg which sounds weird but here we are.

[She doesn't try to remove Strut, instead she tries to set the Egg down next to her...only to find another pokemon in her bed.]

Jynx~

AHHH! GET OUT OF MY BED!

[She unceremoniously shoves the purple pokemon out of the bed and she responds in kind by dragging the blankets with her leaving Jinx alone on the bed with strut and an egg.]

[Diana jolts up, wide awake again and looking so pissed off.

Strut is screeching at the invading Pokemon!]

What? What now?

[badluckbabe]

This...THING was in my bed!

[She starts pelting it with pillows and Jynx returns fire by grabbing note pads, shoes, and even a pokeball throwing it at Jinx who throws it right back and sure enough as soon as the button connects Jynx is forcibly returned to her rightful place inside the ball leaving Jinx breathing heavily, wide eyed and confused.]

I...what the hell!! When did I catch that thing?!

Probably back when you were short... er.

Couldn't you have picked something less... creepy?

[There's a soft noise and a foxy white head pokes itself out of Diana's sleeping bag.]

I can't imagine WHY I caught that thing.

[Head snaps to the sound of cuteness and Jinx sighs.]

Looks like you made a new friend too.

[Diana picked up the soft, white fox and strokes its head.

Strut ruffled his feathers jealously.]

Yeh, she seemed to really hit it off with Gaia when she was here.

[Diana goes quiet for a moment.]

Gaia...

[Jinx frowns and looks at the nightstand. There are some pictures that she can thumb through prominently featuring Diana and a baby and that vulpix.]

She's really cute.

Well, you know, how could she not?

[Diana tries to sound all confident and flash Jinx a smile but she's faltering.]

Yeah...the odds were really stacked in her favor. She's gonna grow up to be a real knockout.

[Stepping gingerly over the pokemon on the floor she sits on Diana's bed with the pictures.]

God I looked ridiculous. I'd burn these pictures if Gaia wasn't so adorable.

Yeh. [No. No, she wasn't.]

Yeh. She was something. [She grew alright. And she certainly was 'something'. But now...]

You look like a carnival prize.

Aw come on...cheer up. We'll get you back to her someday.

Some people around here even said we'll be dropped back at the exact same time we left.

[Jinx has no idea how not good news that is for Diana.]

Right? God I didn't realize just how big my head was until I saw these pictures.

[Diana sighs and covers her face with a groan.]

That's the spirit.

[Jinx is just gonna sit here trying to be awkwardly comforting. At least the cave is nice and quiet and peaceful. Nothing to distract Diana from her feeling lousy.]

You can talk about it you know. I'm not gonna judge.

No thanks. I'm good. Just tired.

Yeah alright.

We'll just...hang out for awhile then. Get some more sleep and we'll get out of here in another couple hours.

[Because there's no way she's going to let you literally wallow in a cave of depression. In the meantime she rummages through her supplies.]

I'll get started on breakfast. Since I don't have my powers anymore I could probably make some eggs and toast. I think I still have some jerky left we could have breakfast sandwiches.

[She manages to give Jinx a smirk.]

If your powers are gone it's gonna take it more than a couple of hours to get out of here.

[She'll smirk right back.]

Yeah I guess so. I better break out the fruit too then. We'll need all our strength to get out of here.

[She'll just set a granola bar on Diana's sleeping bag]
