[Diana turns the camera on, looking bedraggled and peeved off.]

So, after whatever the hell that was this weekend, I really wanted to just sleep for like, a whole day. But this is what I woke up to in my face this morning.

[She turns the camera to show off the grinning face of a Lycanroc.]

What the hell, Ingno? Why do you look like that?

[The Lycanroc grins wider, letting its tongue loll out of its mouth.]

Lana didn't turn into something this creepy. I nearly punched you in the nose!

[The wolf-like creature doesn't seem to care, it shakes its head and runs over to sit beside another Lycanroc (Midday Form). Diana sighs off screen.]

Great, because it already didn't take me- [Pause. There's four, large, round shadows near the dogs feet.]

Lana... What the hell are those?

[Okay, so Jinx doesn't actually get a note. Diana just drops an egg onto her stomach to wake her up.]

It's called the Midnight form, or something like that. I guess it depends on what time of day they evolve.

[Noctis looks pretty worn out himself, his sudden lack of magic again making his body feel even more tired than usual after all he warping around he did.

His own Midnight Lycanroc--Shepard--pokes her head into view, grinning broadly as she let's out a snuffling laugh. Welcome to the club!]

What, so he's like a werewolf? Great.

[Diana is glad to see she's not the only one who doesn't feel like making an effort this monday.

Ingno replies with a happy yip and licks the ear of his fellow Lycanroc.]

What the hell!?

[Blurry eyes rubbing looking at the egg confused, then at Diana questioningly]

Congratulations. It's a dog.

[She makes to go back to sleep.

Strut is squawk-laughing.]

[Honestly he'd rather be asleep still but he has to be a good young man and go to work.]

Mine likes to cause trouble so be careful.

[Shepard does her best to look innocent but it doesn't work considering the grin is still in place.]

[Sleepy Jinx looks at the egg, then Diana's retreating form then the bird finally she leans over the bed and pokes noir]

Did you do this?

[Noir grunts his denial and rolls over onto his back.]

Well...OK new egg I guess.

[She yawns and rubs her eye.]

Ingno's not so bad. I mean, this is like the 5th time he's scared the crap out of me but he listens.

[She points to the Midday Lycanroc.]

Besides Lana's the one in charge.

[ Walter was barely over the weekend. He had a full body ache that seeped into his soul, a handful of photographs he didn't remember taking and a plump Litwick that had definitely hatched in the Otherworld. So having another egg turn up in his PC box with a note from Diana? Not exactly the greatest thing he could receive today. ]

You already paid me the money for the Mimikyu egg.

What kind of Pokemon had eggs? I'm not familiar with your team.

[Diana clambers back into her sleeping bag while Strut perches atop Jinx's head.]

Egg! Egg!

[Diana's going to text back while still cuddled up in her sleeping bag, because how dare Ingno wake her up.]

I'm trying to be friendly.

They're Rock type. I can send you a picture if you want?

I'd appreciate that. I don't have any Rock types yet.

[ Yeah, he was also on his face in bed. He woke up at Sharkhouse; the place where the Receiver of Wisdom and his various friends lived. It was extremely awkward and he was very glad to be home, surrounded by his own Pokemon. ]

Yes I am aware I have an egg now...A dog egg which sounds weird but here we are.

[She doesn't try to remove Strut, instead she tries to set the Egg down next to her...only to find another pokemon in her bed.]

AHHH! GET OUT OF MY BED!

[She unceremoniously shoves the purple pokemon out of the bed and she responds in kind by dragging the blankets with her leaving Jinx alone on the bed with strut and an egg.]

See? Works out for both of us. Well, this is Lana and Ingno.

I can't accept the egg. Not if it's a dog.

[Diana jolts up, wide awake again and looking so pissed off.

Strut is screeching at the invading Pokemon!]

What? What now?

[No. It is a ~~coyote~~ wolf.]

But I already sent it to you.

This...THING was in my bed!

[She starts pelting it with pillows and Jynx returns fire by grabbing note pads, shoes, and even a pokeball throwing it at Jinx who throws it right back and sure enough as soon as the button connects Jynx is forcibly returned to her rightful place inside the ball leaving Jinx breathing heavily, wide eyed and confused.]

I...what the hell!! When did I catch that thing?!

I'm not comfortable with dogs Diana. It would be best to give it to someone else.

[ He's still trying to get used to his Flareon, he can't handle a coyote/wolf/canine ]

I can't imagine WHY I caught that thing.

[Head snaps to the sound of cuteness and Jinx sighs.]

[I mean, she gets it. She was terrified of Ingno when she first got him. ~~Jinx's fault.~~]

You said you needed a Rock Type, and Lana and Ingno are pretty strong.

[Not that Diana really knew that much about fighting.]

[ It was true, he needed a rock type. But there were so many other rock types that weren't dogs. ]

Diana, I cannot accept it. I'm only just able to handle my Flareon. I cannot accept a more doglike pokemon.

[Diana picked up the soft, white fox and strokes its head.

Strut ruffled his feathers jealously.]

Yeh, she seemed to really hit it off with Gaia when she was here.

[Diana goes quiet for a moment.]

I know dogs aren't great. But these guys really aren't so bad once you get used to them.

[Merwin the Houndoom. Now there's an asshole.]

[Jinx frowns and looks at the nightstand. There are some pictures that she can thumb through prominently featuring Diana and a baby and that vulpix.]

She's really cute.
