So, after whatever the hell that was this weekend, I really wanted to just sleep for like, a whole day. But this is what I woke up to in my face this morning.

[She turns the camera to show off the grinning face of a Lycanroc.]

What the hell, Ingno? Why do you look like that?

[The Lycanroc grins wider, letting its tongue loll out of its mouth.]

Lana didn't turn into something this creepy. I nearly punched you in the nose!

[The wolf-like creature doesn't seem to care, it shakes its head and runs over to sit beside another Lycanroc (Midday Form). Diana sighs off screen.]

Great, because it already didn't take me- [Pause. There's four, large, round shadows near the dogs feet.]

Lana... What the hell are those?

That sort of thing never seems to deter them, from what I've seen.

They have, on occasion. Thankfully not as frequently as some peoples', though.

God, I hope they don't make this a regular thing.

How frequently can this happen?

You know, I'm not entirely certain. Although I believe that I heard the old breeding center restocked their egg selection as frequently as every month, in some cases?

A breeding center?

Yes, there were several people who organized and ran one some time back; they pooled their pokemon in order to have a large number and variety of eggs available for sale.

That sounds like alot of work. They made money doing that?

I'd assume so. I never asked for particulars, but considering how many eggs were offered for sale...

Huh. What kind of job do you have, Sion?

Here? Presently, I work as a gym leader.

*... boy that still feels a little weird to say*

Oh yeh, you've mentioned something about a gym before.

Is it a good job?

Well, I can't speak for everyone, as each gym's different, but I find it rather enjoyable. Ryner and I get teach and test trainers, help them learn and become stronger.

Huh... How long have you been here again?

A bit over five years, altogether.

Woah. So you've been at this for awhile?

Well, raising pokemon, certainly, but running a gym is rather new.

How'd you get that job?

If you battle and defeat all sixteen gym leaders, you can challenge the Elite Four and Champion at Indigo Plateau. Should you succeed at defeating them, you'll be allowed to apply to become a gym leader, by submitting your gym proposal to the league for approval.

Yeh, that sounds like so much work.

I suppose, but if someone's planning on trying for the badges anyway, it isn't that much more work, really.

Yeh, I've been kind of skipping the whole badge thing.
