As I was saying, I am a new arrival to this world, and while I have many questions, I understand that most either will have no answer or are best answered by discovering myself. So the question I pose to... whoever can see this is what does one wear in this realm when they desire to be seen as fashionable and upstanding? I do not require royal garb, but rather something the denizens of this world will find handsome and respectable. I thank you greatly in advance for your assistance in this matter.

As for your question, tastes seem to be quite varied, depending on peoples' interests. Though generally speaking, you can usually get a good idea of what's currently considered fashionable by observing what's featured at some of the stores in the larger cities.

Is Pallet Town considered one such city? My companion and I have just arrived by the boat to this place, and it seems quite large for a Hylian community.

And Pallet Town is actually rather small compared to most cities in the region. As far as Kanto goes, the largest are problem Celadon and Saffron City.

Shit, another Prince? Name's Ash, but I ain't any kind of royalty! As for what to wear, I reckon you'd want to check out the shops in Goldenrod; it's the first place I came to that seemed to have a scene for fashion, ya know? I haven't been everywhere so there's probably some town that's famous for that I just don't know about. Looking at you, you could probably just pull anything off if it's what you want to wear!

I appreciate the compliment. Where I am from we wore nothing but armor for the soldiers and the accessories of our rank. Figuring out clothing is new territory for me.

Were you some kind of fae, or not metahuman? I mean, I don't meant to offend you if you were some kind of metahuman, but not many people who were that I can think of back home would go around naked except for the odd bit of armour. Except for fae people, but even then they usually go with metahuman clothing when they want to blend into a crowd or go about their business in cities and shit.

[After taking the Pokegear and playing camera-man for Sidon, Link clicks the device off before laughing lightly. (He'd been holding back for the sake of the prince's video, okay!)

A bright smile appears and he offers Sidon his 'gear back while his Buizel let's out a happy bark where he sits at the hero's side.

He still wasn't sure what to make of all this. It had been weird enough waking up with his 'mom' telling him it was time to go and then there was his Pokemon(???) partner that he'd dubbed Pumpkin. But then to top it off he'd run into Sidon who was human. Still very tall but very human.

Yep. This was all pretty strange.

Link tilted his head and motioned towards the small amount of buildings that make up Pallet Town.

[Sidon's own pokemon was tucked safely in his ball as the prince didn't see much reason to have the fish out on the land. It didn't make sense, and the fish flopping about was... unnerving. Seeing how much the creature liked to nap, that seemed to suit it just fine.]

Thank you, my friend. [The gear was taken back and tucked into a pocket-- such a strange addition to his person. He followed the young man's gaze to the town, nodding decisively.]

Indeed. Let's explore, shall we?

[Link nodded quickly and motioned for Pumpkin to take the lead, the Buizel darting ahead on all fours with his twin tails lashing. The blonde smiled at Sidon then followed after, knowing the prince wouldn't be far behind.

The town was very quaint and reminded him quite a bit of some of the villages he'd visited back in Hyrule.

The otter leading the way made a beeline for the fish market, of course, and Link's eyes lit up at the sight.

So. Much. Potential. Food.

He turned to Sidon and motioned before rubbing his hands together. If they got some fish he could make them food later, once they were done exploring.]

Most places have a little place you can pick up clothes but they don't offer much. Goldenrod's nice and big though, they've got loads of stuff.

But you can order stuff too.

Shirts, pants, maybe a men's kilt if they're so inclined, really there's no actual requirement to be as much as just decent with few bits hanging out. I would think for you, a nice collared button up shirt and some well pressed pants and shoes.

They sell suits and other formal wear in Goldenrod and Celadon, which is about as respectable as clothing gets around here. It might not be the most appropriate for travelling, though.

The more colors you have, the more impressed everyone will be.
