But we saw one of those legendary Pokemon the news was talking about.

Has anyone ever tried to battle a legendary before? Or catch one?

[Attached is a picture that's clearly taken from high up in a tree of Raikou, though it's a fairly bad picture considering the lightning flash and the rain obscuring things. It probably doesn't help he was made to stay far away from the beast.

He's an Arcanine. All of the books I've read on them and the Pokedex call it the Legendary Pokemon, and he's definitely big enough to ride. I guess a long time ago people used to worship them because there's pictures of some really old scrolls with drawings of them on it.

He's... not exactly like the ones the news is freaking out over, but I'd say he counts.

Have you seen any of the police officers with orange, striped dogs that come up to about their knee? That's their first, uh... form called Growlithe. I have two more from Marcel, but I haven't evolved them yet.
