This is either the best or the worst annversary present I've ever received.

Don't base your estimates on anyone's bragging. I've seen a guy claim he'd spent the night with the prettiest electric engineer on the ship, when I know for a fact she was on duty at the time. The number of people running laps was probably closer to the truth.
