[The video opens to Yuri sitting with a Floatzel resting its head against his lap. It looked sad, and Yuri was stroking its heady gently to comfort it. Even Potya was gently washing its face.]
So I woke up this morning with all these pokemon in my computer. I pulled this one out and.. It's my friend's. His name was Link, I don't get... well I didn't get why I suddenly had all his Pokemon..
I.. I guess he went home? It really is just.. sudden isn't it... I wonder if he even knew what was happening.
[He looked worried but for a reason not said on the video.]
I.. I need to work on getting badges. Van said its the best way to get money and I want to get a place for all of Link's Pokemon to live together. It doesn't feel right to use them and it doesn't feel right to leave them in the PC either...
I guess this is just my first lesson in how this world can really screw you over..

People do not know when it will happen. And the feeling...It does not lessen, the more times it happens. Four times, I have lost people in this world. Three times, I was left with their Pokemon. [ The two at his sides are examples. Lily, the Blissey, rubs his forearm comfortingly but it doesn't seem to quite reach him. ]
I don't know if they chose to give these Pokemon to me...

[There was clear distress. He pushes his hair out of his face and glances over his shoulder as if making sure someone else wasn't listening in.]
I wish I knew what triggered it. I promised someone I wouldn't leave but like.. this means I can't keep that promise if it just happens you know?

[ He sighed, shaking his head. This was a terrible thing...but when had life not been terrible in some way? ]
Until it comes, we do not know. The future here is...fate cannot be escaped. Someday, we will leave this place and return to what we were. But the future is more...generous. And unpredictable.

[ He wraps his arms around the Floatzel to bring it a bit closer. This poor thing, what was he even going to do with it or the others? ]
I hope it doesn't happen any time soon. If at all for me.

I would not like to return either. But what I like has never been a factor.
[ Gracie frowned and floated in front of him, saying something. He lifted a hand underneath her, correcting himself. ] Back where I am from, it was never a factor.

I understand a bit of that feeling... I guess I just have to get over it and keep moving forward. If there's nothing Ican do then I gotta do what I can with what I can do or whatever.
Here comes Charlotte, save him
There is nobody we can direct our anger at.
I do not know how it works, but I think, the Pokemon we are left is intentional. A last gift...So they are precious. It's not easier and it does not change how we feel. But they - the Pokemon, are here. [ The Floette and Blissey didn't seem to deny or affirm, just smile soothingly and touch him in comforting ways. ]
[ But a Chandelure also appeared and got in his face, knocking the other two aside. She gave a very unique giggle and flaunted about in front of him. Tell her more about how precious she is! Walter sat up straight and gave her a cool look. ]
Even those who were spoiled. [ The Chandelure blinked at him. Then simply resumed her parading and messing around. ]

[It's said kind of casually, but Chloe isn't the type to get too fussed about shit like this. She barely knew him anyway.]
We only had like one convo, but he was a pretty chill dude. I taught him what "lol" means, so that was fun I guess. You seem pretty torn up over it though. You two close?

I just promised a friend I wouldn't leave but we really don't have a choice do we?

I know it does. I've been here four years now, it never gets any easier. But we can thankful for the time we've had with all those who've touched our lives.
Re: Video
I'm gonna remember him for all his help. And his Pokemon are here so that'll help me remember too. I gotta find a nice place for them to hang out instead of just sitting in the PC all the time.
Video
That's the best thing that you can do.
I ended up purchasing my first home mainly because of not wanting to keep any Pokemon in the PC, either.

Anyway, thanks for the advice!

And sometimes they come back. That always happens too.
