[The video starts with the young blond's face, and he looks rather... perturbed.]

Someone who claims to be my mother told me I needed to use this thing to talk to other people and I kinda forgot about it until now, but... I just needed to share this.

[The view shifts to a magikarp flopping around on the dry ground.]

I get that things are different here, but unless I'm wrong this is a fish, and the nearest water is like... [A short pause to look around.] a little ways that way. How did this thing even get here? It's not very good at whatever it's trying to do...

[Roxas nudges the fish with his foot, causing it to flop a little harder for a moment. In the corner of the picture the edges of a mimikyu's disguise can be seen as it lurks.]

What should I do? Throw it back or let it do whatever it was doing before?

[Vanitas had come a long way since arriving in this strange place. He'd grown beyond his original select set of emotions and had developed others, had learn not to resort right to anger and, in general, while still a shit head could be a decent person when he wanted to be.

But then this person showed their face on the network.

He was in the National Park letting his Pokemon break from their traveling when he thought to check his 'gear, scrolling through his feed only to pause--freeze really--on one post in particular. His blood ran cold as he stared at it, several emotions hitting him all at once.

Pushing away from the tree he'd been sitting against and disturbing Flood who had been lounging in his lap, he managed to start typing despite the trembling in his hands.]

[Against his better judgment Vanitas flicks the video on, seething with anger as he glares at his 'gear with Flood the Phantump hovering over his shoulder looking rather confused and curious.]

No I don't have the wrong goddamn person I know exactly who you are, Ventus! I'm going to find you and I'm going to kick your ass!

[Cue at least a continuous minute of confused staring into the screen as Roxas tries to figure out who, exactly...]

Uh... You... Look like Sora, but your voice is wrong, and your....... colors....

[Yeah that was an intelligible sentence.]

[Were Vanitas thinking clearly he'd probably register that what this young man had just said was strange.

But he wasn't thinking clearly.]

Cut the crap, Ventus! You aren't welcome here! Where the hell are you?!

First of all you just said you're going to kick my ass, so why would I tell you where I am? And secondly I'm Roxas, not Ventus, whoever that is.

[Normally a fight might sound fun, but he doesn't have his keyblade here, so... No fighting.]

[Roxas. Wait.

Vanitas is still seething but there's something almost confused on his own face now as Flood glances at him then peers at Roxas again, tilting her head.]

Roxas...

[He was connected to Sora somehow, wasn't he?]

Then why do you look like Ventus?

[Oh good, the angry Sora-like person was calming down.]

I have no idea. I don't even know who Ventus is. Why do you look like Sora?

[For a minute at least.]

I do not look like Sora!

[Yes he does and he knows it.]

Yes you do~ Just different colors!

[Vanitas turns a glare on Flood who dissolves into giggles, the Phantump lounging on her trainer's shoulder now ~~like Midna~~.]

Shut the hell up, Flood.

[Roxas had opened his mouth to speak and say almost exactly what the voice had said, but obviously that wasn't necessary. Now, who spoke?]

Did... your dream eater just talk?

[Vanitas's gaze was back on Roxas in a flash as he frowned.]

She's a Pokemon, moron, and yes. She can use Psychic to talk to people. Did you not read anything in your goddamn 'gear?

[Well that was just rude and unnecessary.]

A little bit... I've mostly been wandering.

Apparently that face means you're stupid like him too.

[That gets more giggling from the Phantump and draws over another audience member in Undertaker the Cutiefly who buzzes over and plops down in Vani's hair.

Who does he need to rough up?? Someone's making the boss angry!]

[There was a level of rudeness Roxas could take, and Vanitas was reaching the end of his tolerance.]

I just got here and I don't know things yet, okay?

[Roxas jerks as his mimikyu does something she's never done before and climbs on his shoulder to stare/glare into the camera.]

All the more reason you should read what's in the 'gear, moron. How long have you been here already? Probably long enough that you should have figured most of this stuff out!

[See, Vanitas is channeling his anger into pure asshole nature now so Roxas is just going to have to deal with this now.

His expression melts into a smirk as he tilts his head and Undertaker punches his little fists together at the Mimikyu.

Bring it.]

You really are just as stupid as Ventus. Are you sure you aren't him?

I've only been here for four days, jerk!

[Last time he was at three days he was still a zombie. Give him some credit for not being an emotional mess right now with his new heart and all.]

I already told you, I don't know who Ventus is and if you don't stop calling me stupid I'll grant your wish and come kick your ass!

Oh wow, I'm so scared you're going to kick my ass. Whatever will I do?

[It comes out in a drawl, Vanitas rolling his eyes.]

I'm just calling it how it is, Not Ventus.

I. Am. Roxas.

[That and a glare is the only response Vanitas is getting.]

Whatever you say, loser.

[And with that, he's going to shut his 'gear off because...honestly he's not handling this same face crap very well.

It's bothering him way more than he wants anyone to know.]
