Someone who claims to be my mother told me I needed to use this thing to talk to other people and I kinda forgot about it until now, but... I just needed to share this.

[The view shifts to a magikarp flopping around on the dry ground.]

I get that things are different here, but unless I'm wrong this is a fish, and the nearest water is like... [A short pause to look around.] a little ways that way. How did this thing even get here? It's not very good at whatever it's trying to do...

[Roxas nudges the fish with his foot, causing it to flop a little harder for a moment. In the corner of the picture the edges of a mimikyu's disguise can be seen as it lurks.]

What should I do? Throw it back or let it do whatever it was doing before?

Yeah, it eats whenever I eat. I tried putting it in the ball thing, but as soon as I get one out it starts screeching and won't stop until I put it away.

[Honestly he just has absolutely no control over this creature. He's not very good at asserting dominance.]

Oh.. I mean, Potya hates her ball too. I guess it likes you but in its own way? Or.. Might kill you in your sleep.

[Yuri shrugs non-chalantly.]

I recommend getting more Pokemon to keep an eye on that one.

I don't know how much help this thing will be... What did you call it? A magikarp?

It's okay, I have one that's the same way. She's a Pikachu, carries a shiv. It's unsettling.

[He leans a little as if to try and see the Karp again.]

Yeah. I mean, not much at first but its one of those if you stick at it... I heard there's a few like that. It doesn't hurt to catch it.

I mean, you can just tap the button of the ball on it unless you really wanna wing a ball at a fish lying on the ground...

[He sets the gear down long enough to pull out a ball, and the mimikyu can be seen tensing on the side, but when he doesn't put it anywhere near her she calms and watches as he pushes the button and in a beam of light the stranded magikarp disappears.]

Just like that? Do I have to do anything else?

No, now you have a Magikarp. When you want to take it out you can hit the button or just toss it on the ground and it'll pop out and.. does stuff.

[Potya shakes her head. Magikarps do very little.]

[If all else failed he could probably do some damage throwing the ball at things. Maybe the fish would hit them on the way out.]

I'm supposed to fight people with these, right?

Yeah, that's an option. You can do the gyms or some people just breed them. Or contests. That's becoming a thing now.

Just do whatever, I guess? I'm doing the gyms personally.

[Altin had his paws hovering around Yuri... and slowly lowers them.]
