I made it to Cherrygrove. [Finally.]

It's a bit bigger than New Bark Town, isn't it? I'm sure I can find more information here. And get more supplies. [Although what she really wants is a shower and a bed.]

Oh, and I made a new friend. [The camera moves over to a Pidgey on a nearby tree branch.] His name is Cielo. I'm surprised he's sitting still for the camera. [She laughed and turned the camera back to herself.]

I was amazed at how much more Cherrygrove had to offer than New Bark Town! It made the long journey worth it, even if my feet were sore for days after arriving.

[That seems so long ago. Half a year ago, already.]

It was...different than I was used to.

[Roughing it for three and a half days is a bit different than eating sweets in a nice apartment, yes.]

But I'm doing fine, thank you. You've been to Cherrygrove too then? Is there anything interesting I should keep my eye out for?

[Elsa nods. She gets it! She was.. very much not used to traveling when she first got here. Being confined to a singular room in the castle for much of her life doesn't lend itself well to being physically active. And now here she exploring ruins like it's nothing.]

Oh, yes! cherrygrove has a lovely spa attached to the inn. It was heaven!

[Especially in helping with the soreness of travel.]

Aside from that... as much as it's larger than New Bark Town, it's still a bit sparse. Violet is really where you want to be.

Violet is pretty far though, isn't it? [3 days was hard enough.]

Maybe in a few days I'll start heading out that way.

It's... not the easiest journey, no. But it's worth it when you get there.

[She offers a sympathetic smile.]

I will say that the sooner you can get a Pokemon that you can ride, the better. It makes things so much easier!

I miss the city, so I hope it is. [She laughed]

Maybe when my pokemon start evolving, one of them will be big enough to ride. What kind of Pokemon do you travel on?

For a long time, I had to rely on my traveling companion's Pokemon, because I had none of my own. Then I got myself a Ponyta and he's recently gotten big enough to ride! And now that he's almost a Rapidash, I'll be able to ride him all the time!

You have traveling companions too? That's good to hear. You're lucky though. You must be able to pretty far now.

It's true, but for the most part me and my companions have stayed in Goldenrod- there's so much to do there! I do want to see more of Johto, though.. I'm particularly excited to see MooMoo farms!

The difference between Cherrygrove and New Bark is crazy! I was expecting another teeny little place. You can definitely get plenty of supplies and stuff there. Plus I think that's where the spa is.

That's good to know. I would've had trouble if I had to go all the way to Violet before I could get supplies. [She giggled.]

Ah, a spa would be wonderful right about now. I'll have to go and visit it before I leave. I should also visit the beach too.

You should definitely check it out, it caters to trainers who've been traveling.

Yeah...we don't really get a choice in that.

I know...but I did leave two of my underclassmen in a...bit of a dangerous situation after promising to keep them safe. I can't help but wish I left after they were definitely safe.

[Maybe if she hadn't been so reckless she would still be there...Hopefully, one of them made a wish in time.]

You've been through Johto then?

Well, time doesn't pass while you're here, so you don't have to worry about that at least.

Most of it! There's a few places I never stayed in, though, just passed through. I spend most of my time in the islands.

Oh yeah, the Sevii Islands! They're pretty neat. And I think I just really like being surrounded by the ocean.

I grew up on the coast, the ocean's pretty important to my people.

I grew up in a large city, but I love nature...to an extent.

That's still a bit of a trip for me though, if I'm reading this map right. I'm currently hoping to stock up on supplies and get more information about this world before heading out to Violet.

I take it Goldenrod is a big city?

It is. It has a Game Corner. More people though. I'm not a fan of the people aspect but it means more to do.

You would probably enjoy it then. Plenty to do. Has the Magnet Train too, so you can go to the other region.

Is it? I haven't played many video games before. I've never really had the chance. Maybe when I get to Goldenrod I'll check the Game Corner out.

I should finish this region before I even think of heading over to the other one.

It's boring here.. It's boring everywhere actually. This place is too quiet for me. And there's not a lot of games that are actually challenging.

Perhaps you just need to look a bit harder for something that suits your fancy.
