8th Meal - Backdated to April 1st
[The shot opens on Diana sat on the ground, in some undisclosed location, face in her hands. One of her Pokemon must be filming for her because it's a full body shot of her cross legged on the grass.
And climbing all over her there's puppies.
No, you misunderstand. Not like a couple on her lap. Not a cute litter of six. Not even healthy grouping of a baker's dozen.
No, no, no. Diana is covered in puppies. Puppies of all types. So many, moving and wriggling so much you can't even count them. And in the space around her there's even more. And in the space around that there's a bunch of other dogs.
She takes him a long deep breath and slowly drags her palms down her face.]
You know what? They got me. They totally played me.
[Is she talking to the camera or herself? Who knows, she looks at her wits end.]
I figured there was no way they could make more than they did a couple of months ago.
But I come out here to check up on them...
Twenty nine... Twenty nine!
[She throws her hands up in the air (dislodging a few puppies that just scramble back onto her).]
What the hell am I supposed to do with twenty nine more? WHAT?
[The puppies startle, then start to howl and yip alongside her shouting as she berates the older hounds around her.]
Thanks guys. Real funny. Good April Fools. But what do you plan on doing when the day is over?!
[They cock their heads at her and wag their tails.]
Oh, fuck you.
[Diana finally actually speaks to the camera.]
You want a dog? Any dog? Take one. They're free.
[[ooc; If you'd like to help Diana with her dog problem, here is the list of newest puppies, and here is the list of some of her older, higher leveled dogs. As always, you're more than welcome to change literally anything but their breed. (Name, nature, even gender.)]]

Are you sure you don't want to keep them? They all seem very attached to you...
Video
Where? Keep them where?!

They'll find a place,in your home or outside somewhere if there isn't room. They're smart. They'll figure it out between themselves if they want to stay.
no subject
They're just smart asses instead. [Several barks around her.]
Goddamn it Daine...

I know it's not much, considering the sheer number of them, but I'd be happy to take one of those Zigzagoon off your hands. I'd been considering adding another normal type to my team anyway. This just speeds the process along.

[Diana looks around her and picks up the first fuzzy ball of striped fur she sees. Holding up the tiny raccoon dog for Cissnei to look at.]
This guy okay?
[Honestly she wouldn't have said no to any of them; she's really not picky and can work with anything.]
You sure you don't want anything in exchange?

[Don't you dare send him anymore, Diana, he will murder you. Three is enough for him.]

[Sure, obvious solution, probably easier said than done, but Sasha's trying her best to be helpful!]
Or maybe you can just become a breeder. [A frown.] One that doesn't curse at Pokemon.
» video
I don't know if my subtly went over your head. But I want less of this, not more. [Diana returns the frown with a baffled one.] Why would being a breeder stop me saying fuck?
» video
It didn't. [For once, she caught it. Sasha is learning!] But if they are just going to keep making babies, then maybe you could turn it into something good for everybody? And because it's mean? No one should be cursing at Pokemon. They have feelings too!

[Mabel is all sparkly eyed when she replies, her Meowth, Tabby Puss, peeking over her shoulder to get a look at the puppies as well while Bop-it the Hoppip hovers by her head.]
I'll take one! Can I have Truffle? His name is cute~
[Video]
Aren't they? Puppies as some of the cutest things ever.
Sure you can. Just one? You sure you don't want his twin sister? Or triplet brother?
Or maybe just a pink pug?
I'll take a pink pug, too!
[Nevermind.]

[Starting, he says.]
Getting rid of some of the older ones might help.
[She said any dog, but he assumes she means the puppies.]
[She sighs.]
It's always been a problem. But yeah, some of my older puppies are up for grabs too.

[As means of introduction. He hasn't forgotten, Ed keeps special track of which pokemon come from who. It's why he continues to give Cissnei a hard time over her Vulpix.]
Joey's been a pretty good asset on my team. I'd feel more comfortable giving you something for them, but I might be interested in a few if they're still available.
With how out of hand breeding seems to be in this place, it makes me not want to bother trying.
