You wake up on a rumbling wagon as it rattles it's way up a mild hill. There is nothing on either side of the road but forest and gnarled trees with pine needles dusted with snow. You can see your breath rising like steam from...whatever passes for a mouth on your body.

There's a Drifloon tied to a led weight keeping it stuck in the cart with you as well as a couple other pokemon in the wagon all wearing chains and looking miserable. You also have a heavy weight stuck to your neck keeping you from flying away. The Drifloon notices you're awake.

"Oh good, you're awake. I was afraid they'd end up executing you before you even got to tell me what you did to get put on this cart.

It's a dark night, the stars are out, and it really is a beautiful evening for a stroll through the desert.

Unfortunately for you, you're being led, bound in chains by a Machamp in a pinstriped suit and his henchmen, a Primeape and a Golem.

You arrive at the top of a hill, a lonely graveyard in the middle of nowhere it seems before the Machamp speaks.

"Sorry about this, it really isn't anything you did wrong.

As the other two Pokemon loom on either side of you he plucks an envelope from your bag and checks inside.

"Well you have half of it at least. Where's the other half?"

It's pretty easy to see that this fellow is not particularly artistically inclined, and the college has never had any need for guards...after all you're bards! The worst you have to deal with most days is hecklers.
