[02; Video]
[The video opens to a closeup of Peter's face.]
Hey!
[He flips it around to show a shot of a dark forest as far as the eye can see. You can see his other hand in in fram, holding what looks to be a long string of web and at the end of the web is a Spinarak crawling across the ground.
He's got his spider out for a walk, it's fine.]
So, not to alarm anybody, but I think I'm lost.
[Back to his face.]
I've been here for like two days now. But man, lemme tell you about my day! I was feeling hungry, right? As one does. So I'm kinda low on food and I see it, there in the distance. An apple tree! Cool, right? Well I go up, I have Spider-Man do his spider thing and stringshot an apple.
Only, and I didn't realize this until that exact moment, there were also Beedrill in that tree. Theeey don't like to be bothered.
So they're angry, I'm freaked out, Spider-Man doesn't know what's even going on, but I finally get it together and start giving him orders. The Beedrill are like "BZZZZ" and Spider-Man is like "pew, pew!" and he manages, somehow, to hit their wings and bring 'em down and we got away. That's great, yeah? Well the not so great part is this.
[There's a brief- and I mean brief cut to his arm where there's a stinger sticking out of it.]
Yeah, so I might've gotten stung. It's... fine. It's only bleeding a little. Anybody know how to take care of that? Thanks!
[There's a split second where the video delays in turning off and you can hear him letting out a breath and yelling OWWWW--]

Video;
Dude, what the hell?
[But no, seriously, Peter...]
There's a fucking sting on your arm!
Video;
[IT'S NO BIG DEAL]
I've got it under control, I just need to figure out how to fix it up!
Video;
Video;
[HE'S NOT GONNA LIE IT HURTS BUT
IT's. Fine.]
Ow.
[It's probably fine.]
Video;
[Because dude...]
Good thing I got a first aid kit...
Video;
[AHHHHHHH]
Do you think it's poisonous?
Video;
It's... It's a poison-type Pokemon...
Video;
[Until, y'know, he finds himself with a stinger in his arm.]
Video;
[Don't worry Peter, it's mostly the worry talking.]
Do you see a Farfetch'd or a Ducklett nearby at all?
Video;
[GOSH.]
I don't- Spider-Man, use your spidey senses! Do you hear any ducks nearby?
[Spider-Man looks... honestly confused. What does that even mean?? If this were an anime he would have that lil sweat drop.]
Well that was a bust. Hey, ducks! I'm over here! [If he makes enough noise they will find him, right?]
Video;
[What... What is Peter doing? How would a Spinarak be able to help with his 'spidey senses'? What is even a spidey sense? Is Peter referencing those comics?]
Are... You ok?
[Read: is your head ok???]
Video;
Listen.
Shut up.]
I've got a beedrill stinger in my arm and I'm feeling a little dizzy because it's probably poisonous and I'm honestly starting to wonder if I'm hallucinating these alleged ducks that are supposed to be looking for me. But otherwise? I'm fine.
Video;
If one of them is blue, and the other one is carrying a leek, they're mine. Not that they should stick around, they're supposed to come back to me and guide me to you.
Video;
[He flips the camera around to point at two of them he's just spotted wander out from the trees.]
Heyyy, what's up? Are you the medical ducks I've heard about?
Video;
[But yeah, those are his Ducklett and Farfetch'd. Looks like they found Peter alright.]
Yep, those are mine. [He then raises his voice sot they can hear.] Come on, get flying back so I can follow you.
[And they take flight away from Peter.] It'll just be a little longer. Hang in there.
Video;
I definitely just hallucinated those ducks. That's just not something you see every day.
[He's gonna just use a tree to support himself and then kinda just. Sit down.]
For somebody with a stab wound, I'm feeling great. Never better.
Video;
[He hopes they're faster coming back than they were going.]
I'm sure you've been better. But let's focus on getting you out of there.
[There's a beat before he speaks again.]
You should probably start doing something on that. Try to tie one some of your Pokemon's string around your arm, above the sting. Just so you don't bleed too much more.
Video;
[No. No, that would be bad. He heaves himself into more of a sitting position and gestures with his good arm at Spider-Man.]
Gimme some string, bud. Gently, don't overshoot it- yeah! Like that.
[Alright time to tie this string, it's a little difficult one-handed but- there.]
Video;
I mean, there's not much more you can do for now, so just... Try to stay awake, and make sure it's tight, we're trying to cut the blood flow until we can put some bandages on it.
no subject
What....okay do you have a first aid kit like at all?
[Everyone caries those around, not just him right?]
no subject
[No?? Probably not?? He should've thought to grab one of those.]
No... no I don't. Ha.
no subject
[That's not fine.]
Um, can you check your map. How far away are you from a pokecenter? They treat people there too. ....also are you allergic to bees? I don't know if that would crossover but it's probably better to ask.
no subject
[He's doing great.]
Do you think if I pull this out it would be like a. Steve Irwin situation?
no subject
I have no idea what that means but if it means massive blood loss, then possibly. Depending on how deep it is.
[Gravity Falls has their own version of every pop culture thing, there is probably some version of the Crocodile Hunter but it's highly unlikely it's the same name.
that would be too easy.]It's still poisonous though. So it's probably better to risk it. Only if you have something to make a bandage of some sort though. Like a spare shirt?....anything?
no subject
[It's not deep, but it's not shallow either. It's a real uncomfortable in-between.]
Ugh. Okay. Lemme...
[He's just gonna start rummaging around in his backpack. He may or may not be starting to sweat a little.]
Hey, dude, I think you're right that this thing is just a tiny bit poisonous. On the bright side, here's a shirt.
no subject
Normally the last thing you'd want to do is to remove the thing blocking the bleeding but if it's anything like a normal stinger it's probably pumping in more poison as you wait.
no subject
If you had taken my advice regarding preparation in the first place, you could have avoided this whole mess.
A Beedrill sting is venomous. You'll need to treat it right away or you could get really ill.
...I assume you don't have a first aid kit on you?
no subject
Hey, that was completely different! [there's a pregnant pause] Sort of. It was still a fun battle, so- ow- totally worth it!
I totally d- [don't lie] -on't. I wish I could say I did, but I don't.
no subject
Of course you don't. We'll get back to your terrible argument later since right now there are more pressing issues.
Have you got a pokemon with an ice move? Toothpaste? Honey?
no subject
Uh-- no? I only have Spinarak... Ooh, I bet I could make a bandage out of spiderweb! Right? That's the best idea I've had all day!
[Spinarak seems eager to try this so clearly nothing could go wrong. He shoots web at Peter's arm, but misses and hits him square in the face.]
Ack-! Bud, we really gotta work on your aim...
no subject
[Seriously, he's worse than Ron! How is that possible??]
You have to take the stinger out first and clean the wound before you bandage it!
Honestly...
Look, carefully remove the stinger, and then wash the wound with clean water...please tell me you at least have that on you?
If you have some toothpaste in your bag, smearing that around the wound will relieve some of the pain. Then get your Spinarak to bandage it with his String Shot. Once you've done that, you should go straight to the nearest pokemon centre to get checked out - don't dilly dally in the woods!
Video
Video
[It takes him a hot second to think about it.]
Cloth, probably! Water... Mostly? I've probably got half a canteen. I didn't plan on getting lost, so I didn't plan very thoroughly. It's okay though, everything is totally fine.
Re: Video
Once you've taken out the stinger, you can use a cloth soaked in water to clean the wound. Make certain it's been cleaned thoroughly, then use a clean, dry cloth to bind it if needed.
And have someone take a proper look at it once you do get to a town, of course.
Video
Okay, so if I take it out it's- it won't, uh. Start gushing blood, right? It's safe to remove? Because back home, there was this celebrity- he was Australian, so you know he was more powerful than anybody- and he got stabbed and he pulled it out and he died. I don't wanna be that guy.
Re: Video
*he's keeping his own tone calm and level, though he'll add just a hint of authority if he needs to get the point across*
Just have some cloth or bandages prepared in advance, then go one step at a time. If it starts bleeding heavily, then wrap one tightly around your arm above it first, then go on to do the other steps.
video;
You're only bleeding a little?
video;
[He only says that when Shiro is being parental and it's not clear if he's conscious of it or not.]
Yeah! A really insignificant amount, you can hardly even tell.
video;
How is that insignificant?
video;
[He flips the video back just as briefly to show it again.It's big, it's jutting out of his arm. It's bleeding. But it's back to his face in an instant.]
See? All good.
video;
Peter.
That is not. Good. Not in any sense of the word. Get to a pokemon center. Now.
video;
[OOOOOOO]
It's probably gonna be a while before I can make it to a Pokemon center on account of being lost. But it's okay, because I have a friend who's sending his ducks to find me. Which... I realize sounds like something stupid somebody would say in a poison induced fever, but I think it's true.
video;
[It's trauma]
Sending -- okay. I'm staying on the line with you until they get there. Sit down or something, though.

find a pokecenter
or pull it out
rinse it
wrap it in cloth
then get to a pokecenter
text
But it's cool, I think one of my friends is on his way? He sounds like he knows what he's doing.
Unless he gets lost too. That might be kind of bad.
no subject
but if youve got someone on the way that works
[Who are you gonna trust? Some people who have ""normal"" reactions to injuries, or the guy who lived in the desert alone with no structure?]
[Video]
Sweet Jesus Christ on a Ritz cracker. With pepperoni.]
Oh my God! Y-You need to get that out immediately - shit, would Antidotes even work on humans? I don't - I don't know, but - you definitely need to put something on that wound and wrap it up and be incredibly careful!
