[It's weird knowing that she left and came back to this place. Having memories from before but also having new memories from home when she woke up in an unfamiliar bed greeted by 'Mom'. It didn't take long for Mabel to put together what was going on, though, especially once she found herself bonked in the head by a very excited red Minior.

Once outside the house she'd immediately reached for her 'gear and her Pokeballs--

Only to find the latter empty.

Thus, the frown she's wearing as she comes over the network, eyes narrowed which just makes her look even more haggard despite the state she's already in.]

Two questions.

[She holds up a finger as Little Dipper be-bops around in the background.]

One, are my Grunkles and brother still here? And two--

[Another finger goes up and she squints even more as ~~unicorn blood~~ blue-green..something drips down one ear.]

Where are all my Pokemon?

Mabel?

[She remembers you. You're the nice older girl that talked about pokemon types with her. Like pigs and newts. She thought you were gone.~~Newt has yet to have someone she knows come back.~~ So she's a bit confused.]

Did you come back? .....are you okay?

[You know being covered in what she has no idea is unicorn blood.]

Newt!

[Another friend that's still here! Mabel smiles brightly, waving at the other girl with her free hand and giving her a reassuring grin and a thumbs up afterwards.]

Yep! And I'm totally okay! Just got into a fight with a unicorn back home that I totally won so everything is a-okay!

[She gets a smile back. You won the fight so that's the important part....at least to her.]

Oh good. I'm glad you're okay.

....what's a unicorn?

[Her fairy tale education has been a bit spotty being from the far off future. And sure older Newt showed her some magical animals in his book. But they must have missed that one.]

Definitely okay!

[She proved herself and got the unicorn hair so it was totally a win!

Showing those unicorns who's boss was just an added bonus.....okay no that was totally the best part.]

A horse with a horn on it's head and they can use magic! Like this!

[Excuse her while she tilts her 'gear to show off her multi-colored, unicorn blood stained sweater with a unicorn head on it.]

[Also not dead. Newt's albeit, still rather morbid version of win or a loss.]

Oh.....I don't think we have those at home. But I don't think we have any magic at home so that makes sense.

[Just science and these aliens really defy the laws of everything.]

Yeah I don't think unicorns actually exist in many universes but that's okay! Anytime you hear about something you don't know about I can draw you a picture or show you!

[That's a promise!]

Really? ....thank you.

I'd give you a picture of the things that are only in my universe but they're really scary looking... At least.....I hope they only exist in my universe.

[They were bad enough in one universe. Also yeah she sometimes draws them. And then she sometimes sets them on fire but sometimes she has to get them out of her head. But enough about that.]

I'm glad you're back.

That's what friends do!

[Mabel winked.]

Don't worry, we don't have to share scary things with each other! Creepy things are okay but we'll both avoid scary.

[She didn't want the other girl to get upset.

Mabel smiled warmly, hands going to her cheeks.]

Thank you, Newt! I'm really glad to be back!

[Friends, right she had friends here. Like Thida and Korra and Mabel, who came back. Even if no one could control coming or going, the fact that someone she knew and liked, actually returned rather then just vanishing or ....feels important.]

Right, we're friends.

[She's making lots of friends here. It's....nice.]

Did you find out where your pokemon are?

[Mabel's smile gets brighter now and she nods.]

That's right!

[And she was going to do everything she could not to leave again because she liked it here and liked the people here way too much.]

Well, Dipper had Little Dipper and then Grunkle Ford had Hambone. Sasha had Tabby Puss and some others! And then someone told me about a place in Kanto where I can go and pick up the others so hopefully the rest will be there!

That's good. I'm really glad you can go and get them again.

[Newt's pokemon are her family so she can't imagine loosing any of them.]

I think I heard of a place like that, but I don't remember where it was.

Me too! I can't wait to see them again and as soon as Dipper gets here and we finish up his scavenger hunt stuff we're going to go find them!!

[She has to find her friends it's so important to her.]

It's outside Lavender Town which I think is the spooky town! I didn't really go to Kanto much last time so I can't wait to visit!

[Hold on.]

Hey did you ever find a newt Pokemon???

I'm doing the scavenger hunt too. It's fun. .....I'm not going to get the lady who lies about being your mom though. I still hate her.

[Newt's mother issues have yet to be resolved.]

Oh....no. Not yet. I'm still looking though.

I think she's a robot.

[She almost said alien but, given who she's talking to, Mabel stopped herself.]

I'll keep an eye out too! Since Dipper and I are going to Kanto maybe we'll run into more newt-y Pokemon!!

Maybe. I have a friend whose an android though and he doesn't act like he's someone he's not....oh I got a new pokemon that I named after him actually. Here.

[She'll pull out a pokeball out and a porygon will appear.]

This is Bishop. I named him after my android friend, who saved my life twice back home.

[Bishop is observing the screen. He seems quite calm.]

Really? ....thank you. I'd like that. Are there any you're still looking for?

You have a friend that's an android??? Really? That's amazing!!

[And potentially dangerous in her experience but Newt seems sure that he was her friend so no reason to bring up bad past experiences with creepy dating sim girls turned robot.

Mabel beams and waves excitedly at the Porygon.]

Hi Bishop! He's super cute and kind of looks like a duck!!

[Mabel loves him.]

Tepig! And Swinub!

Yeah, he's the best. He turned on the evil company and saved me twice. I was going to be sucked into space but he kept hold of me, even though he'd been ripped in half already, while Ripley closed the doors to space.

[Physics are for other movies, also Bishop is the best.]

[Pokemon Bishop meanwhile manages a wave of a sort, before Newt pulls him back into his pokeball.]

Yeah he kind of does. Oh! You should talk to Thida, she's trying to return a Tepig back to his family. I think she said there were some near....Ecruteak city, not in the city but nearby.

...Best. Android. Ever.

[Mabel's eyes are wide as she says it, a hand to her cheek. What a badass!!!

She looks at the Porygon again and gives it a serious look.]

You've got some big shoes to fill!

[She waves again before he disappears, perking up.]

I'll ask her about it! I don't want to separate any families but maybe I can find one that wants to come with me!

[He totally is. Newt meanwhile nods.]

You should. If his family is there, I bet there are others too. And maybe one of them will want to travel. Most of them seem to.

That would be awesome!! I'll have to talk to Thida right away and see what we can work out!

[NEW PIG FRIEND!!!]
