[It's weird knowing that she left and came back to this place. Having memories from before but also having new memories from home when she woke up in an unfamiliar bed greeted by 'Mom'. It didn't take long for Mabel to put together what was going on, though, especially once she found herself bonked in the head by a very excited red Minior.

Once outside the house she'd immediately reached for her 'gear and her Pokeballs--

Only to find the latter empty.

Thus, the frown she's wearing as she comes over the network, eyes narrowed which just makes her look even more haggard despite the state she's already in.]

Two questions.

[She holds up a finger as Little Dipper be-bops around in the background.]

One, are my Grunkles and brother still here? And two--

[Another finger goes up and she squints even more as ~~unicorn blood~~ blue-green..something drips down one ear.]

Where are all my Pokemon?

Luckily you can take the ferry right from New Bark. I imagine your brother would enjoy Mount Moon, as well. There's some fascinating legends regarding the Clefairy that live there.

Oh I know him! I danced with him at the prom!

Clefairy are the pink ones that evolve from Cleffa right? I had one of those before I left! Her name was Starburst! I'll have to tell Dipper so we can go visit!

He lives with me, he's a very good man.

They are. I'm bringing my Clefairy to the mountain, she was a Cleffa when I got her - and hatched in Johto. She's never been to Mount Moon.

I'm sure Starburt will be very glad to see you, when you reunite.

He was really nice! And a really good dancer!

He's in Kanto now, too, actually.

I'm sure of it. Why wouldn't your Pokemon be happy to see you again?

Because...because I left. I left and they were all alone.

Pokemon are as intelligent as most of us, they understand how these things work. They know you didn't do it with intent.

..I hope so. I really want to see all of them again. Hopefully I can find them all!

I know Mr. Mason's were very pleased to see him again. And I'm sure yours have been well cared for in the interim. They won't hold anything against you.

As long as they were taken care of..that's the important thing! And I'll work hard to make sure they know I missed them a lot!

I doubt you'll have any trouble expressing that at all.

If you don't have ridable Pokemon, may I recommend you and your brother invest in bicycles? It makes traveling easier.

Bicycles. [Mabel blinks.] That would have made traveling so much easier last time..

You'd be amazed at how few people think of them. But they're terribly useful contraptions.

Time to battle some people and save up for a bike!!!
