Today's my birthday!

And no cheating if you already know!

[Says the man wearing an almost entirely face-obscuring mask. No one said this was going to be easy!]

Well, that's true, but you didn't give us a chance to get you any gifts.

[Though he has to pause and think for a moment.]

Now that you mention it, I've also almost been here for two years. It... went by a lot quicker than I realised.

Who needs gifts with so many friends?

[People are way better than presents.]

Two years is a long time and it still went by super fast! It's weird to remember the Murder Chicken used to sit in my hand.

I don't believe one needs to exclude the other. You've made a lot of friends here, which means you are also going to have a lot of people who'd like to get you a gift.

[Armin wonders if it is significant that they all arrived around the same time period and stuck around. But then, he can't really make that judgement, can he? He'd need more information.]

[And on and on, ad infinitum...Numbers aren't his strong suit, though, so that's what Armin gets.]

[For so long, Armin was firm on the idea that someday he should go home. That he had things he should do there. But the longer he is here, the harder it is to feel dedicated to that. Sometimes he wonders if he'd even be able to do the right thing anymore if given the choice.
