It's not so bad when I'm in Olivine, walking on the beach.
It's VERY bad when I'm on a late night walk in Goldenrod and I nearly step on a Meowth's tail because the damn tune was distracting me.

There must be SOME kind of music that can drown it out of your head, though you might risk that becoming your new internal soundtrack.

I think I'm going to try moving away for a while and deliberately seek something to replace it. Kanto has potential.

I've only been to Celadon City, but surely there's a nice, non-obtrusive place to stay.

Viridian Forest has been suggested to me. Looks like I'll have to buy a tent, unless I visit from a nearby city every day.

There shouldn't be anything wrong with roughing it in a tent for a little while. It might be worth it to invest in one, anyway, if you plan on heading out into the wilderness for anything else.

It'd be nice to that again. I haven't traveled much in the lst year or so.
Which may explain why the first new song I heard for more than a few hours in a row got stuck in my brain, now that I think about it.

Gosh, yes, that would do it.
When you stick around in one place, you do sort of learn to tune out the main theme around you, and when new ones suddenly start up, I suppose they're fresh enough to jump right on into your headspace.

If I was lazier, that would be an excuse to never travel again. Sadly, I'm not.

Shucks, even if I was lazy, I don't know if that'd be an excuse I'd use.
The soundtrack is annoying, sure, but it's not the worst thing to be plagued with.

Not that I'd say so in front of my sweet Ambat, of course.

Though Bettina is now a Crobat with a penchant for cinnamon...

Cinnamon? That's... both surprisingly harmless and easy to fulfill. I didn't know bats could even eat it.

I will advise you that it might just be her personal preference and not a species-wide quirk.
But even so, it's...

It's gross when she insists on licking it off the floor, but that was worse when she was a Golbat, so I'm counting my blessings that she will accept and slowly eat a teaspoon of it now.

Mine has a penchant for common sense and regular naps instead, but then again I've never tried giving him cinnamon.
Is there a reason why she prefers the floor? Other than grossing you out, which is always possible.

It might just be because their tongues are so...ridiculous.
Like Gene Simmons of KISS levels of ridiculous.
