Text Post Update from The Garrison Trio

[As promised, Pidge is putting up pictures of the little road trip that she, Lance, and Hunk have embarked on. It's a later update than she'd initially planned it to be, but better late than never, right? And in the interest of getting the news out to all of their friends (and Lance's friends, she doesn't even know who else that might include), Pidge makes them all available to the public.

There are photos as well as videos, and they're all absolutely ridiculous.

Posing with random objects that may or may not have been landmarks. 
Hunk cooking over a campfire making a peace sign at the camera. 
A bedtime selfie of the three of them all made up and wearing Lance's beauty masks.
Challenging each other to a hot sauce competition (which Pidge utterly lost, face red and tears in her eyes).
Singing songs with helium balloons.
Lance holding an impromptu "fashion show" with Pokémon themed outfits, Hunk cheering him on enthusiastically in the background.
Messing around with some of the Jennies.
Running from the Jennies.

A shot of Lance and Hunk leaning on each other, asleep and drooling.

There's a lot. Over the last several weeks, these three have been up to complete and utter shenanigans. But, as their friends can no doubt tell from the pictures, they're doing well and having a great time.

[Pidge sees Hunk's addendum and glances over at him with a slight smirk.]

Shouldn't the post itself be a sign that we're all safe and okay?

[He gives Pidge a glance, one eyebrow quirked and a natural smile on his face.]

You honestly think that's gonna be good enough for Shiro?

[That makes her grin brightly.]

Okay, fair enough. Maybe we should've put "It's okay, Shiro, we are not in jail" on it in big bright letters.

I still say jail would have been fun. How bad could Pokemon jail be?

[Lance, no. You're too pretty for prison.]

My guess is "pretty bad." Plus like, Shiro'd rip us a new one. Or freak himself into a coma.

[Pidge snorts.] Lance, you just wanna spend more time around the Jennies.

And I doubt it'd be bad enough for a coma. Maybe a quick fainting spell.

[First there's a quick "Guys, shut up, it's Shiro--" and then Pidge's face appears, waving at the camera with a casual smile.]

[Oh, hey. He hasn't texted Shiro since he left the house so this feels kind of awkward considering their lass conversation. That and Lance still hasn't found himself like he promised Shiro.]

Oh, that? [She waves a hand dismissively.] That was nothing. Just a little prank gone sideways.

[Maybe he expected too much that things would actually be fine between them this soon. That Shiro would pull that face again and maybe tell Lance to knock off his more risky shenanigans. That's closer to normal than whatever this is.

[Can you see the halo over her head?]

Yes?

[He looks tired there, for a heartbeat, before he smooths it over. Tired in a way he hadn't since he settled in here.]

As long as you're safe, right? That's... all I asked.

Dude, you guys have no idea what kind of alien weirdness happened to him lately. He has an arm that's powered by Allura's tiara. His.. ghost.. spirit.. brain.. lived inside the black lion for like a year.

I'm just saying, if anyone could eye twitch their way into a coma it's this dude.

You have to actually have shame for that to work. [That's right, Lance. She's snickering at you.]

I dunno, Hunk. I think he'll pull through somehow. I mean he hasn't lived through the being inside the black lion yet, but that doesn't mean he's not resilient enough.

[She presses her lips into a tight line. Obviously not because she's trying to suppress a smile or anything. But there's definitely a light of mischief in her eyes that kind of says "Because it was fun."]
