[Marceline's not sure where she is or how she got here, but it's not a big deal. This place seems chill. And it's got a sweet, old, burned-out tower to explore. Bonus points: it's nice and dark inside.

She's not surprised that someone else is in here, but she's also not not surprised. More curious about the specter's remark than about its duck-like appearance, she floats silently up behind Lena and asks,]

[Lena's not really a jumpy person. Living all her life with a sentient shadow constantly hounding you and popping up at the most annoying moments kind of conditions you to accept voices just coming out of nowhere suddenly, so she doesn't jump or yelp or anything like that when she hears a sudden voice behind her.

... She is surprised, though that someone's talking to her because she shouldn't be able to be seen now???]

[That last question is rhetorical. She's definitely not in Ooo anymore, she knows that much. Somehow she's crossed dimensional planes into Somewhere Else. For that matter, does the Nightosphere exist here? She has no idea, and there's no way she's going to try opening a portal to check.]

Yeah, no kidding. I spent the last few months as a human, not a duck. That was super weird. I still don't know why.

[Well... okay she's seen a few pokemon that look uncomfortably like ducks so maybe it's so people won't try and catch her??? Or something??? It's still dumb.]

... Honestly, who knows. There are some big nerds studying how things work here or whatever, but one of them's a huge weirdo so I don't really pay attention to them much. But I guess there might be??? There are ghosts and shadow pokemon here, sooooo.....

[That's, uh. A bit alarming. She's not planning on sticking around, but she's also not sure how she wound up here in the first place, so getting out again might be tricky. Or at least, it might take some time. She's still having fun exploring though, so she hasn't really been thinking about trying to leave, yet.
