"Ehhhhh...." Carly takes a moment to squint- and manages to fortunately come to an intelligent enough conclusion. "...Hoooh! ...I see now!" she exclaims, pounding a fist into her palm. "...It's because we're from different worlds~! I'm not going to be real where you're from right~? It's probably like that then!"

She pauses, and adds.

"...This still means you can't laugh about me thinking magic was fake back home though you know..!! It really is the norm!"

"Why wouldn't you be real just because we're from other worlds?" he asked, confused, then frowned as if realizing he was just insulted. "Wait. HEY! Did you just say you don't think I'm real?!"

"H-HEHH!! Th- That's not it at all, I promise!!" she shouts, shaking her head rapidly. "I- I just said our worlds are that different right?? Like... ...Like totally different 'books' on their own, and in one the magic just isn't considered real it's like that see!"
