She's back here again. Not for the last time she's sure, nor for the second time given what she's been doing for the last week and a bit. But she's back here again, and Carly stretches as she re-enters Violet to head for the Poke-Center.

"We've been working really hard huh~?" she cheerfully announces, referring to the pokemon at her side. Solitaire- the Alolan Vulpix- seems exhempt from the matter, simply dozing away atop Carly's backpack...which is notably emptier seeming without a tent in it. But the rest of the pokemon, including the one which momentarily looked more like a fuzzy hair broach than anything, seem to be chittering their excitement.

One in particular looks especially pleased- evolution does that for a gal, and the newly evolved Salazzle is enjoying walking on two legs.

Entering the poke-center though, Carly is getting right to the point. "Alright- we'll just heal up, and then hea-"

....Hold on.

"S-Susie..!?" She'd have expected her to be off near Ecruteak, or even the Farm by now!!

Susie jumps and whirls around. "D'AH—
..oh! Oh shit! Hey!! It's, uh.. Good to see you again! Even if you don't. Remember the first time..!" She shrugs and awkwardly extends a fist—likely for bumping purposes.

"How you been, man? Love the hair.. thing."

"Hohh!!" It takes a moment to get the fist bump. She very awkwardly gets her fist up, and bumping,

Did she do it right...

"Hmn? Oh! That's Kushi~ Kushi, say hello~"

Kushi in question skitters up the head, dropping all the hair she was holding up. Notably there's an everstone strapped to her back.

It's almost as big as the joltik. "And...It's good to see you sort-of-again too! I'm kind of surprised actually, though I guess there's three different ways to get here..."

"There we go." A passable fist bump.

"Oh damn, alright. What's poppin', little man..?" She goes to fist bump the 0'04" bug.

"Y-yeah, I've just been, uh. Takin' my time, y'know? Taking the time to stop and smell the flowers. A lot.

Though I gotta say, I'm pretty over flowers by now." That'll happen when you spend two entire weeks lost in Ilex Forest. Not that she'd ever reveal that.

"Sssooooo uh.. What've you been up to..?"

The four inch bug fist bumps back.

Carly in the meantime sort of stares. "Hohhhh...well, I'm glad you've been enjoying yourself at least!" she cheers. "Anyway...We've been preparing to take on the Gym here~! If we win, we'll be able to fly places faster..! ...though the prize money doesn't hurt either, hehehe..."

"Aw, nice! Good luck with th—wait what'd you just say"

Her eyes narrow and she leans forward a bit. "Prize money, huh..? How much are we, uh.. Talkin' here?"

"From here? Uhhh...I think it's about 10,0- Oh," she pauses, wondering if Susie is more likely to be from somewhere other than Japan or not.

"I guess it would be the same as like...100 dollars? I think that the other gyms give more but either way it's definitely more than what trainers pass out when you beat them..."

She's stunned.

"And wait, a... are they all supposed to do that..? Like is that. A real rule???" Susie pauses.

"..guess I shouldn't have, uh. Scared most of 'em off, huh.."

"Huh, the trainers? Oh yeah, you beat them with your pokemon an-"

"H-HE-HEHH!!?! S-Scared them!? What were you doing to scare them off!?"

Susie grins real wide under her mask. "Well, you might not remember, but..." She cracks her knuckles Loudly, then leans in further and snarls:

"I can be reeeaaal scary when I wanna be, Carly."

She sighs and backs off into a more relaxed stance, now with her arms behind her head.

"Buuuuuuut that doesn't always work as good as it used to now that I'm stuck as a human. So there were still some losers to thrash. I kinda figured they were giving their cash up out of fear—there's seriously a rule.. that says they have to..?

"Hhehheee...Ahahaaa...I- I see..!" Why does Susie remind her of someone, oh no,

"But uh...y-yeah, they have to give a bit..." Carly rubs her head, staring. "...Mnnnh, still though, I should've kept more in contact huh...I could've told you about this a while ago... ...Though, I guess if you just got here, it works out! This is the first gym in the country~"

"Oh, for real? Right on. Glad I don't have to backtrack or anything.
And hey, at least I know now, yeah? What should I.. Expect, then? I mean I doubt it'll be tough for my team, bu—OH YEAH"

She snatches one of her pokeballs eagerly. "My team usually walks around with me, but we just healed up so they're still in their balls. Check this out!!" She slams it on the ground and with a bright flash, a sheepish-looking Gabite materializes.

"Guess who evolved since you last saw him!!" She stands proudly next to Tempest and pats him on the back supportively. "Oh, and..!" She starts excitedly going after another pokeball, much to the chagrin of the other Center-goers. It's probably gonna get crowded in here pretty soon.

"Well he's got flying types... ...so ground moves can't rea- Aaaaa~!" She's been Distracted. "Oh you're so big now~! I should introduce..." Carly never even PUT her team away.

"This is Kyosuke..! And Hei-chan, and Feebah...!" She proudly holds up the fish in the case of the latter. "And Mimi-chan is...somewhere...but!! Look!" She gestures to Misty, who poses. "Misty evolved too~!"

Carly's vulpix is still sleeping in her bag.

Tempest looks flustered but happy at Carly's praise.

"Oh, nice!!! And good to, uh.. meet all of you! OH and look who evolved too!!" She hurls another ball to the ground. After the flash fades, two crimson blades unsheathe themselves and stare unblinking at Carly's team. Each blade seems to look at a different member (Carly included) for an uncomfortable amount of time before switching targets and repeating. "Isn't this great??

And all my eggs hatched too!! So we've got:"

Flash. A doofy-looking, very soft Pancham emerges wearing a custom-made hoodie (is that where most of her money went??? there's a good chance). Its tongue hangs out as it waves happily. "Lancer,"

Flash. A Lucario emerges and immediately flexes. It smiles wide with especially sharp-looking teeth. "Undyne,"

Flash. A Tyrunt emerges with a big, shit-eating grin on its face. It seems really laid back. "aaaand Junior." Susie stands proudly with her hands on her hips. "And that's everybody!! They're, uh. A lot to handle sometimes, but we manage!

So whaddya think? Pretty impressive, right?"

"Hohhhhh..." Somehow the fact that they had to be released from their pokeballs (unlike Carly's crowd) has made it far more impressive!

Also that's a rockin' hoodie there. "Woah!!! Super impressive!! I agree!" she shouts, pulling out her poke-gear to get the dex updated.

She points it at Undyne...and nods. Points at Lancer. And furrows her brows. Points...oh phew, the dinosaur is rock type. "Woah...so many evolutions though..."
