Uhh. ...Hi? I've never done this kind of call before, and...definitely not to a lot of people at once, but it looks like it's the best way to meet others like me here? Or I guess just...others who were brought here?

I guess if I'm going to 'break the ice', I have to ask a simple question right? ...How does everyone pick names for pokemon then? I uh...I never had pets at home! ...I didn't really think I ever would...but suddenly I have loads of them, and they all need names...

Yeah. A lot of us have actually. It's kind of like a weird vacation where people aren't trying to kill you.

[At least that seems to be the impression she's got from a lot of people.]

Really? [SOMEONE GETS IT...but also he's at least somewhat aware that his experiences are Far from universal, so that's a weird feeling.] I didn't expect so many people to agree...

A lot of people come from violent and corrupt places. For me, I think this is the longest I've ever gone without someone trying to kill me or control me.

It takes a while to get used to. Especially the wild pokemon attacks. Still not used to animals not attacking to kill.

I guess if you're going to take anyone it...would make sense to pick people who need a break then?

It might just be a coincidence. People seem to appear and vanish randomly.

I get the feeling a lot of things are going to be weird, [he laughs quietly. ...

Something is starting to bug him though.] ...You know though...I feel like this would have been closer to normal for most people at home, even if it wasn't for me. Just what kind of place did you come from?

Before I got dragged here I was on a planet called Pandora. Rough terrains, covered with bandits and wild animals. There's a few semi peaceful settlements here and there but it's a dangerous place to live.

You came from another planet?

[Sorry Maya, but now he's just focused on Other Things.] You mean...Space travel, and all of those things, those became real where you're from?!

Space travel's pretty common where I'm from. I travelled to Pandora from a planet called Athenas and I've got friends from all sorts of different planets.

... [wait but murder planet] ...Are...all of them as dangerous though?

Probably not all of them. I've heard the Eden's are supposed to be nice. But I've only ever been to two plants and both were pretty bad.

Pandora is probably the most dangerous planet though. That's the reputation it has at least.

I guess it's aptly named then? 'Pandora' was supposed to be the box full of everything bad in the world in greek mythology apparently- but 'Eden' was supposed to be a paradise, so...

Yeah I've heard that story. I think it was named before everything went to hell though, so it might just be a coincidence.

And I've never been to any of the Eden's myself so I couldn't tell you for sure if they're are great as people say.

Oh- I guess it makes sense that the planet wouldn't have always been that way then...

Maybe someone who came from 'Eden' will appear here one day?

Maybe. I'd rather have some more of my friends show up here. But then I suppose I'm biased.

No, that makes sense. I think...even though I haven't been here really long, it'd be pretty nice to see mine here too.
